The research provides a comparison between two methods for treating osteoarthritis. In the knee joint using platelet-rich plasma injections after or without arthroscopy, the study included 100 cases every fifty of them were treated in one way and the
results were evaluated after surgery and the researcher reached the following results. Treatment with platelet-rich plasma injections after arthroscopy provided an advantage in terms of pain reduction and reduced joint effusion in the knee, improvement of the ability to rest on the limb (walking), and a marked reduction in the severity of symptoms and signs of degeneration was noted.
The Lee code is applied to characterize the plasma focus in two
plasma focus devices UNU/ICTP PFF and Amirkabir plasma focus
device (APF),
and for optimizing the nitrogen soft x-ray yields based on bank,
tubes and operating parameters. It is foun
d that the soft x-ray yield
increases with changing pressure until it reaches the maximum
value for each plasma focus device, with keeping the bank
parameters, operational voltage unchanged but systematically
changing other parameters.
In This Scientific Paper it had been studied the Effect of Ponderomotive Force on
Landau damping of electron Wave in dense quantum Plasmas, by Using quasi quantum
kinetic Equation, Using the Corrections due to both of quantum effects and Ponderomot
ive
Force, because of their necessity in Studying Wave Reflection inside Cavity Energy ,and
some Physical Properties of Plasmas, then comparing the Results to the other Conclusions
in this Field.
This paper discuss the Laser induced breakdown
spectroscopy (LIBS) by using Nd:YAG which is a high energy
pulsed Laser . The laser radiation is focused on solid targets which
are samples of red Copper (99.5%). Most important Plasma
parameters which are electron temperature and density was
measured.
In this research, a study of the influence of arc welding
parameters on the thermal cycle was conducted, where the thermal
cycle within the welded plate of stainless steel 304L by plasma arc
welding (PAW) with weld-on-plate was measured using
the
rmocouples for several welding parameters (intensity of the
welding current, welding velocity, flow rate of plasma gas) and
comparing the influence of this parameters on the thermal cycle
within the plate.
Design of experiments (DOE)
had been used in the study, and the results had been evaluated by the
surface response method. The results showed that the welding
current is the main parameter by its effect on the mechanical studied
properties and the parameters values which give the best responses
had been determined.
This research aims to accelerate the restoration of the
bone cavity resulting from the surgical removal of the dental cysts
through fill the cavity with Palatelet-Rish Plasma.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical outcomes of
treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders via injection HA &
PRP. The sample consisted of 24 patients with TMD.
In this work we carried out some numerical experiments on NX2,
UNU/ICTP PFF dense plasma focus device with neon filling gas using Lee
code version (RADPFV5.15de.c1) and standard parameters of the devices
to compare the value of the soft x-ray yiel
d (Ysxr) emitting from each one.
Also we studied the influence some factors on the value of (Ysxr).
This study is aimed to evaluate the role of Platelet Rich Plasma PRP on osteogensis
in periosteal distraction. The sample consisted of 12 rabbits from local spices. The sample
divided equally into two groups, titanium mesh with holes was used in to
elevate the
periosteum and the space between the surface of bone and the mesh was filled with
collagen sponge, in the test group the sponge was injected with PRP. The rabbits were
killed after eight weeks after operation and the samples were prepared for histological
study. The histological study of specimens of control group showed formation of small
island of osteoid with large areas of connective tissue. While, in test group there was an
increasing in bone formation in form of wide area of woven bone and decreasing in
connective tissue. We conclude that application of Platelet Rich Plasma PRP lead to
improvement in bone formation in periosteal distraction.
