A field experiment was conducted for two years 2011-2012 to evaluate the effect of various tillage implements, tillage depths and nitrogen fertilizer timing application on soil bulk density, its moisture, and peanut growth. Three different implements were used: moldboard (MP), chisel (CP) and disk ploughs (DP). Tillage depth treatments (split-plots) included (8-10) cm, (18- 20) cm and (28- 30) cm tillage depths; D1, D2 ,D3 respectively. Timing applications (split-split- plots) were: T1 all nitrogen fertilizer applied at planting ,T2 half nitrogen applied at planting and half at flowering ,T3 all nitrogen fertilizer applied at flowering. All tillage implements decreased soil bulk density for the tillage depth. They were for treatments (DP,CP,MP) at (0-10)cm depth (1.31,1.33,1.29) g/cm3, (1.31,1.32,1.31) g/cm3 at (10-20) cm depth and (1.36,1.37,1.35)g/cm3at(20-30) cm depth. Soil moisture increased in treatments (DP,CP) with increasing tillage depth .There was no effect of previous factors on main branches, but timing of nitrogen fertilizers (T1, T2) effected secondary branches significantly compared to T3. Moldboard significantly increased leaf area to (1.77) m2/plant compared to chisel (CP) and disk ploughs (DP). Also D2, D3 increased leaf area compared to D1. (T1, T2) significantly increased leaf area compared to T1. Interaction between timing of application and depth (D3 xT2) gave significant differences. The best value was (1.85) m2/plant for the two years.
The research was carried out during 2009-2010 in agricultural seasons, in Alqusser area, western south of Homs city to study growth analysis of Spanish faba bean (var.alfa docle) under the effect of different ploughing methods on leaf weight ratio (L WR) relative leaf growth rate (RLGR), leaf area ratio (LAR), leaf area duration (LAD), crop growth rate (GGR) and net assimilation rate (NAR), using four ploughing methods: surface tillage(T1), disk tillage (T2), place tillage (T3) and disk-turning (T4).the experiment was designed at randomized complete blocks, with five replications. The study showed the following: The ploughing methods of disk Tillage (T2), Place tillage (T4), and disk- Surface Tillage (T1) had a Significant increase in leaf weight Ratio (LWR), Relative leaf growth Rate (RLGR), leaf Area Ratio (LAR, leaf Area Duration (LAD), Crop Growth Rate (GGR) and Net Assimilation Rate (NAR) during the Tow seasons. Disk-turning (T4) had significant increase over disk-tillage (T2), and place tillage (T3) in all physiological indicators mentioned above (LWR, RLGR, LAR, LAD, GGR, and NAR). On another hand, there was no significant increase between ploughing methods disk-tillage and place tillage in all studies indicators.
The research was carried out during 2009 – 2010 in Al – Hasaka – Amoda – to study the effect of cattle manure at the rate of 30 ton/h1, and four organic green fertilizers (Lentil, Vetch, Faba bean and Barely) on plant area and earliness properties of cotton crop compared with chemical fertilizer 400 kg/h1 urea, 83 kg/h1 P2O5 and 25 kg/h1 K2O.The study showed that the cattle manure significantly increased (plant area, lower first fruiting branch, earliness of flowering and boll maturity) when compared with all studied fertilizers, the increase reached (190. 92 Cm2, 0.30 pod, 1.50 day and 0.90 day) respectively. When compared with chemical fertilizer, the legume green fertilizers (Lentil, Vetch and Faba bean) significantly increased the plant area when compared with the control. The legume green fertilizer (Lentil) significantly increased the earliness of flowering (2.73) day and boll maturity (2.21) day when compared with the green fertilizer (Barely). The chemical fertilizer did not significantly affect the earliness of flowering and boll maturity when compared with the legume green fertilizer (Lentil) during the two seasons.
A field experiment was conducted in Agriculture collage –Tishreen University for two years 2011&2012 to evaluate the effect of tillage depths and nitrogen fertilizer timing application on growth productivity indicators and seeds' chemical compositi on of peanut plant. The experiment was designed in split plots with three replicates. The main plots included shallow tillage (8-10) cm, medium tillage (18- 20) cm and deep tillage (28- 30) cm tillage depths D1, D2, D3 respectively. Timing application (split- plots) were: T1 all nitrogen fertilizer applied at planting ,T2 half nitrogen applied at planting and half at flowering ,T3 all nitrogen fertilizer applied at flowering .Deep tillage caused significant differences and increased leaf area index to (11.93,11.80) for the two seasons respectively . For dry weight/plant were (285.9, 266.6) g for two seasons respectively and seeds index arrived highest values (74.32, 74.53) g for two seasons respectively. Tillage depth increased protein and oil percentage in seeds, but the effect was insignificant. Timing of nitrogen fertilizer had significant effect on leaf area index. The best values were (11.80, 11.60) for two seasons respectively in the treatment T2, and dry weight/plant (283.0, 263.4) g/plant respectively. Significant effect was observed for seeds index. The highest values were (74.41, 74.21) g for two seasons respectively in the treatment T2, so that for protein percentage in seeds arrived highest values (24.35, 25.24) % respectively in the treatment T2. But the highest values of oil percentage were (47.10, 47.21) % for two seasons respectively in the treatmentT3. Interaction (D x T) had significant effect on leaf area index. The best values were (12.53, 12.07) for two season respectively at (D3 x T2) interaction treatments. This interaction had no significant effects on the rest of the indicators
Seven cotton varieties ( Rakka5, Aleppo133, Aleppo90, Aleppo118 , Aleppo40, Deir22, Line124) were grown in village Salhab ( Al-Ghab region , Hama) in 2012 using randomized complete block design with three replications. were used to study estimation of variance, broad sense heritability, genetic progress and correlation some of their technological characters (Staple length mm, Length uniformity% , Fiber fineness %(micronaire), trength Fiber(g/tex), Fiber elongation%, fiber maturity%), that’s to explore potentials Genotypes in search region and put the numerous selectoral evidence in order to obtain an additive and fast improve on the technological characters, The study showed significant differences between in the studied genotypes, for most of the considered traits. The study suggested a variation of the values of Heritability, Genetic advance in the characteristics technological of cotton., the highest Heritability of which was in the Staple length and than trength Fiber, Fiber elongation , Fiber fineness, fiber maturity, Length uniformity, characteristics where the inheritance degree reached (0.98, 0.97, 0.89, 0.80,0.75, 0.30) , genetic development% (1.03, 1.35, 0.36, 1.31,1.22, 0.11). The results also showed a positive significant correlation between Staple length and trength Fiber (r = 0.901**), also between Fiber elongation with fiber maturity and Length uniformity ( r = 0.64**, r = 0.422**), and this gives us the area and ease of movement to put the numerous selectoral evidence in order to improve the technological characters of cotton.
The research aims to study the effect of five harvesting wed (vegetative growth, the beginning of open inflorescences flowering, the beginning of flowering, full bloom, and completeness of the vegetative growth at the beginning of the month of Sept ember and that of plants that have already cutted), some of the morphological and productivity indicators for common thyme Thymus vulgaris L . Experiment was designed by the complete randomized manner in three replicates. Statistical analysis was performed by Anova test using Genestat and account teams less moral LSD at a significance level of 5%. Results showed superiority date mower fifth morally on the rest of the dates in terms of index number of branches (16.50 branch / plant), productivity of the wet weight (55.00 g / plant), productivity of dry matter (27.08 g / plant), while the superiority of the date of the second mowing morally the rest of the appointments in terms of the percentage of essential oils (size / weight) (2.10%), also reached the top of the plant at the time of his high mowing fourth (21.50 cm). Highlights the importance of the results by identifying the optimal harvesting date to get the most fresh and dry weight of material and the highest percentage of essential oil, and the resulting economic return to the farmer healthy and beneficial to the consumer, with the continued preservation of the existence of the plant and its tender.
The research was Carried out in Jisr area in the province of Idlib during the growing season 2013 - 2014 to study the effect of planting dates in autumn sowing 28/9/2013 = (1), 8/10/2013 = (2), 18/10/2013 = (3) and spring sowing 18/3/2014 = (1), 28 /3/2014 = (2), 8/4/2014 = (3) on yield and growth parameters. The results showed that the autumn sowing has a significant increase in growth parameters compared to spring sowing: adapting coefficient (76.67-82.28%), Plant hight (67.15 - 56.3 cm), number of branches/plant (11.63 - 6.84), number of head/Plant (21.39 - 17.76), oil content (23.19 - 20.68)%, yield petals (96.12 - 60.57) kg/ha, seed yield (1331.82 - 768.31) kg/ha, oil yields (315.15 - 158.99) kg/ha to autumn and spring, respectively. While maturity date of autumn plants was delayed compared to spring (245.33 - 145.33) Day. When sowing was of autumn, growth parameters of third soing date were a significantly higher compared to both the second and first sowing: number of branches / plant, number of heads / plant, number of seeds / head, oil ratio (%), oil yield (kg/ha), yields seeds ( kg/ha), petals yield (kg/ha). Wheras the first sowing date has delayed maturity date compared of both the second and third sowing dates. When sowing was in spring, growth parameters of the first sowing dates were a significantly higher compared to both the second and third except for days to maturity.
The lack of information about the cultivation of coriander plant in Syria prompted us to study the effect of four plant densities (33.33،10، 13.33 and 20 plant/m2)، and four levels of phosphate fertilization (0107.2،160.8، and 214.4 of Superphospha te 46%) on some productive and quality traits of the coriander plant. This study was carried out in Tartous province during the growing season 2014، using Randomized Complete Block design with a Split Plot arrangement of treatments. The Results revealed that there were significant differences between the treatments for the whole traits، in addition to a significant interaction between density and phosphate fertilization. Although the densities (10، 13.33 and 20 plant/m2) varied in their effect، they had superiority upon the control(33،33)plant/m2، and the density 10 plant/m2 had more important effect in terms of increasing each of: branches number/plant، seed weight/plant، seeds number/inflorescence، protein content in plants and seeds and beta carotene and chlorophyll. However، the level 160.8k.g/h of P2O5 increased the number of inflorescences/plant، number of fruits/plant and seed weight/ inflorescence.

The seven varieties were grown in Salhab (Al-Ghab region, Hama) in 2012 using randomized complete block design with three replications. The study included estimating variance, broad sense heritability, genetic progress, and genetic correlation between cotton yield and its components, which is to be used in breeding programs.
The research was carried out during 2011-2012 in order to study the effects of five levels of fertilization (mineral fertilization N:65 P:65 K:70kg/h, and organic fertilization 5, 10 and 15ton/h), three spaces between rows (50, 75, and 100cm), one 15cm space between one plant and another, and the interaction between them on the production of safflower dry colored leavel, seed, and oil. The study showed the following results: all the levels of the studied fertilization were significantly superior in the production of dry colored leavel, seed and oil over the control. However, there were no positive differences in the proportion of oil between the treatments of fertilization and the control. The 100cm farming space among rows led to a significant positive effect in the production of safflower seeds, while the 50cm distance among farming rows in the production of dry coloring leaves was superior over 100cm and 75cm distance. There were no positive differences in the proportion of oil; while the mean of oil productivity came down whenever the plant spacing increased from 50 to 75 and then 100cm. The interaction between the levels of the studied fertilization and agricultural plant spaces gave a positive significant effect in most studied characteristics. The most significant positive effect was for the interaction between the mineral fertilization and 100cm distance, and then came the average of the organic fertilization 15ton/h and 100cm space between rows.
