The four components of temperature (max., min.) phenomena, seasonal(S), Trend(T), cyclical(C), and random (I) for Tartous city have been studied. Four different methods (Average percentages method, Percentage of the general trend method, The ratio of the moving average method, Link Relative method) are used to deduct the (S) components and seasonal index for each method is determined. The statistical inferences pointed that the Average percentages method can be used in the prediction of temperature. for the year 2003 depending on a historical record (1957- 2002). The result of this deduction showed that the temperature is a cyclical phenomena. The known statistical test like mean, Standard deviation and cumulative probability have been done which showed a good correlation between the predicted and historical data.
The level of practice of teachers in first sycle from basic education to their roles about developing collecting informations skills at their pupils from teachers, point of view. For that a questionnaire designed consists of (30) items to recogni ze the level of those Practices. After checking of its validity and reliability,it applied on a sample consists of(237)male and female teacher of basic grade of Homs city official schools.
The purpose of this research is to apply a mathematical program to calculate water and chemical balance in unsaturated soils, under the influence of different methods of irrigation, in order to monitor the amount of vertical drainage of water insi de the soil and choose a irrigation method that can reduce the phenomenon of groundwater pollution. Three irrigation methods were tested with different fertilization method. The study was conducted in the western part of Homs Governorate (AlQusair orchards).

The Alsafarqieh watershed is located on the western slopes of the coastal mountain range, Its area is 132.58 km2, It forms a part of the Alros river basin, The river starts at a height of 1200 m, A group of tributaries meet and form the Alros River , which flows into the Mediterranean Sea. Salaheddin Dam was constructed to store 10 MCM on the riverbed at the intersection of the Qurdaha River with the Shehada River. The study aims to determine the rainfall- runoff relationship in The Alsafarqieh watershed. The solution depends on the statistical analysis of precipitation and runoff data. Then the study found the mean annual precipitation is 159.6 MCM/year, and the mean annual flow into the Salaheddin lake was 9.4 MCM during the study period (2010-2012), so the runoff coefficient is 0.06. This indicates a significant water loss. A mathematical equation to predict the runoff quantities depending on the values of precipitation, has been concluded. This is important to study water projects for water storage and flood prevention.
