تم تنفيذ البحث في محمية جبال حسياء التي أعلنت منطقة وقائية يمنع فيها الرعي منذ عام 1970 بالقرار رقم 289/ت الصادر عن وزراة الزراعة مساحتها حوالي 6000 هكتار وفي عام 2009 تم اعلانها كمحمية طبيعية بالقرار رقم 209/ت بمساحة حوالي 14000 هكتار .
The research is carried in the Hsia declared Mountains protective area where grazing is prevented since 1970, according Resolution No. 289/T. Issued by the Ministry of Agriculture the area is about 6000 hectares . In 2009 it was announced as nature reserve ( Resolution No. 209/T area of about 14000 hectares).

The Libyan pastures have been subjected to continuous overgrazing, which
inflicts a great deal of damage to the vegetation cover, on both quantitative and
qualitative levels, as well as to the live-stock production.
To clarify the effect of protection on some characteristics of the natural
vegetation cover, two regions have been studied: A protected region and
another adjacent unprotected region, which is subjected to irregular grazing.
The aim of this research was to investigate the changes of vegetation and
regeneration of plant species in Kassab forests after 1991 fire. The study area is
located in the North western part of Syria in the middle of Al-Baier and Al-
Bassit forest
s to the North of Latakia. Thirty five plant surveys (Relevé) were
carried out in the study area during 2009 according to Braun-Blanquet method
included the burned area and the nearby locations of non-burned forest. By
comparing the plant surveys (Relevé), results showed good regeneration of
most plant species that were in the study area before the fire. Three forms of
vegetation were distinguished in the study area: 1 - The areas where dominance
is shared between Pinus brutia Ten. and Quercus cerris L. subsp. pseudocerris
(Boiss.) Chalabi. 2 - Areas dominated by Pinus brutia Ten. with accompanying
species from Eu-Mediterranean zone and supra Mediterranean zone. 3 – Areas
where Pinus brutia Ten. and Quercus cerris L. subsp. pseudocerris (Boiss.)
Chalabi are partly or completely absent, and dominated by shrubs and grass
species.
Al- sheikh Bader is a small region , its land doesn’t exceed 20000
hectares , which has a significant variation in the topography .The
results of this study in this region showed a variation in the
vegetation of biodiversity within three scales of sea level.
The research aimed to study vegetation change detection of Lattakia province by
using remote sensing techniques, By applicating Normalized Differences Vegetation Index
(NDVI) due to what these techniques had from quickly, accuracy, and completely.
In
addition to saving efforts and money. that change detection methods have showed by
applicating it on Sentinel2 images the plant situation, it's area and distribution in the
studied area.
In addition to knowing plant's cover changes through time passing. Putting geo
databases which benefit in knowing plant situation, and the periodicity supervision for it's
changes.
The yearly and monthly changes of vegetation cover have been studied in Lattakia
province, By making change detection for plants cover of march between (2016-2017).
Then making change detection between march and august of 2017. It was observed that
there were no big changes, Whether increasing or decreasing for plants cover when
studying the yearly changes. While there was big decreasing of plants cover at western
plain areas of province when studying the monthly changes between march and august due
to raising of temperatures. And big increasing of vegetation in high areas.
The right of defense can be considered as natural rights, and the most important fair
trial guarantees. It is also an inherent right at the center of public individual rights. It has
not only created in favor of the individual but also for the bene
fit of society as a whole.
There is no justice when accused people do not have a full right of defense and where not
possible to verify the truth. This means that enabling the accused to defend himself does
not mean that the punishment is over, but means to emphasize the fundamental pillar of
justice that will reassure the individuals to the proper functioning of mechanisms in
carrying out its mission, and this would remove any doubts about injustice suspicion when
Jurisdiction will announce the accused conviction, also removing the suspicion of
complacency while deciding his innocence.
Therefore, search in protecting the right of the accused to defend himself is not
intellectually luxury, but generally speaking, it is searching in more accurate and the most
complex legal issues, it is a dive in the depths, to stick to legitimacy in a centre of obstacles
is not easy to overcome. Building on the above, we can say that the accused practice of his
right to defend himself, remains inadequate to achieve the purpose if it is not criminally
reinforced. And to enable the exercise of the right of accused to defend himself, the penal
legislator decided to develop a set of substantive rules incriminating and justified, meaning
the dedication of this right to proceed without fear or shame. The accused is in great need
to exercise his right of defense under the umbrella of the criminal protection, and this will
protect him of the treachery of his defense and ensures that his rights will not be exploited
because of the weakness of his position, and the lack of his experience, and the conflict
hostile facing him. To find out the aspects of this protection two sections have been
developed in this research: the first section devoted to the study of the criminal substantive
rules, while the second was created to the study of the justified substantive rules. The aim
of this is to show the criminal aspects of protection of the right of the accused to defend in
court.
