The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of handling on the quality and safety
of Sea Bass, Dicentrarchus labrax. The samples were collected from the marine waters of
Tartous, and were traced from catch till arrival to consumers. Sensorial
and microbial
examinations during fish handling were done, and some physical and chemical
characteristics of waters in the fishing area were determined. The results
showed that the sensorial characteristics differed during fish handling and started to
decrease in the marketplace. The results also showed that the number of microorganisms
increased during fish handling and reached the highest level in the marketplace. This
increase was observed particularly in summer. The gills were the most infected part by
handling followed by the scales and then the eyes. The microbial results also showed the
presence of gram positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus Aureus, and gram negative
bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus sp., Salmonella spp., Shigella sp., Pseudomonas
spp.. The market was the most infecting with these microbes.
The research aims to study the effect of using immersive marketing techniques on the purchasing decision-making process, through its five stages, which include: the problem awareness stage, information gathering, alternatives evaluation, purchasing d
ecision making, post-purchase behavior. The study adopted the descriptive and analytical approach to characterize the study variables, and the study also adopted the statistical method in processing the primary data that was collected using the questionnaire that was distributed intentionally sample of clients who meet the study requirement using modern marketing applications. Individuals using these applications. The researcher reached several results, the most important of which are: There is a good effect of using immersive marketing techniques on all stages of the purchase decision-making process. However, the level of confidence of the respondents in acquiring products through these applications is average, and appropriate payment methods are not available for the acquisition of these products due to the lack of electronic payment facilities. For Syrian customers, the equipment supporting Syrian marketing techniques is not well available.
This study has been carried out on Saddled bream , from the
family of Sparidae, which was caught from the coastal waters of
Tartous province.
The results showed that, Saddled bream reached at the fifth stage
of sexual maturity during April and May for males and females,
and the study of the sexual maturity index GSI confirmed these
results.
This study was carried out on /516/ fish individuals of Chub Mackerel Scomber
japonicus (Houttuyn, 1782), which were caught from the Coastal water of Latakia
province (Levantine basin) from December 2014 to November 2015, to identify the
evolution
stages of sexual maturity (by morphological and histological methods)
and determine the spawning period of this important economic species. The results
showed that Scomber japonicus begin with sexual maturity from the beginning of
February and extend until mid-May, with a single peak in Mars. The average value
of the gonado-somatic index (GSI) was (12.46 ± 1.52)% for males and (13.21 ± 3.9)% for
female in Mars. And the total body length at sexual maturity was (21.5) cm for
males, and was (23.5) cm for females. The development stages and gonad maturation
in this specie, are similar with regard to the tissue and the form of gonads and
according to the six gonad maturation steps.
This work takes a critical look at the evaluation of user-generated content automatic translation, the well-known specificities of which raise many challenges for MT. Our analyses show that measuring the average-case performance using a standard metr
ic on a UGC test set falls far short of giving a reliable image of the UGC translation quality. That is why we introduce a new data set for the evaluation of UGC translation in which UGC specificities have been manually annotated using a fine-grained typology. Using this data set, we conduct several experiments to measure the impact of different kinds of UGC specificities on translation quality, more precisely than previously possible.
