The research presents a design for an automated checking system for students. The
system takes a picture of the student, then it extracts his/her basic facial features. The
network was trained using the reverse spreading algorithm. If a training da
tabase is
generated for each student consisting of 15 training samples contained of the necessary
facial expressions to identify the student for one time at the beginning of the semester, then
the neural network will be trained on students database to obtain a trained neural network
able to identify the students of each category depending on their physical appearance. That
will result in knowing who attends and who does not attend the session. The system
designed for this purpose was supplied with the trained network. The system provides the
possibility of automated checking for students according to the content of the study giving
the alarm in case of the existence of the picture of a student who does not belong to the
same group.
The main goal of this search is to design maximum solar power batteries charging
system, Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) system is used in the photovoltaic (PV)

This research aimed to study some chemical characteristics of rainwater in the region
located at the East of Baniyas area the coastal region of Syria . Baniyas area contain
complex of industrial facilities including oil refinery, electrical power g
eneration station
and oil transportation. pH values, concentration of trace metals (Pb, Cu, and Cd) and major
ions (Ca2+, Mg 2⁺, Na⁺, NH₄⁺, K⁺,SO₄2-, NO3⁻, Cl⁻, F⁻) were determined during the period
from October 2012 to May 2013.
Samples were collected from 15 sites differ in distances from the emissions sources.
Most of samples have normal pH value. The pH values decreased while the concentration
of SO₄2-, NO3⁻, and trace metals Pb, Cu, Cd increased significantly by getting closer to
emission source up on 2500m. The changes of the chemical characteristics of rainwater
were significant.
This study concentrates on two basic problems:i)- Increasing of power
efficiency in Industrial premises to reduce the energy needed for product
unit without any impact on the production level .
To achieve this goal, lighting system should be opera
ted in a certain
condition, capacitor banks for power factor improvement should be
installed, and energy losses of distribution transformers should be reduced.
