الهدف من إجراء البحث هو مقارنة تأثير الخلاصة الميثانولية لبذور الحلبة و الحبة السوداء على سكر الدم, عند ذكور الأرانب المصابة بداء السكري بواسطة الألوكسان, من أجل ذلك تم استخدام 42 من ذكور الأرانب قسمت إلى سبع مجموعات حيث ضمت كل مجموعة 6 أرانب.
