The aim of this research was to determined the role of humic acid (HA) and organic fertilization (poultrey with cattle manure) on vegetative growth, flowering and cormels production of Gladiolus (Gladiolus hybrida). Also investigating the ablity of this organic manure to provide nutrients for the plant in order to reduce the mineral fertilization. Humax (50% humic acid) was used, and three applications of HA applied at 2 leaf, 2 and 4 leaf, and 2, 4 and 6 leaf stages of plant development. The results showed that the use of humic acid had a positive impact on vegetative growth (plant height and average number of leaves on the plant) it also showed a positive effect on the formation of Spikes and flowering (early flowering, spike length, number of flowers on spike). The positive effects were reflected on the proportion of dry matter in the vegetative part. The results indicated that plants sprayed with humic acid in presence of Chicken manure produced higher cormels yield and economic profit than the control and those fertilized with Cow manure. . Data also, Showed that T4 treatment (plants sprayed 3 times) realized higher economic profit than authors treatment (112,66%).

The aim of this research is to determine the role of mineral (N.P.K) and organic fertilization ( Poultry manure, Cattle manure and Poultry with Cattle manure ) on vegetative growth and flowering of Gladiolus ( Gladiolus hybrida) and Zinnia ( zinnia e legans)
The research was conducted at the Forestry Nursery of the Directorate of Agriculture in Deir Ezzor Governorate during the growing season of 2019. The objective of the study was to study the effect of humic acid application and different irrigation intervals on chemical composition of blue panic plant (Panicum antidotale). The experiment was implemented in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) by planting Panicum seeds in polyethylene bags filled with 2 soils to 1 sand mixture in four replicates. Whereas three irrigation intervals (7, 14, and 21 days) and two humic acid application treatments (control without addition and application of humic acid) were used. Fresh plant sample from each treatment was taken at each cut, and samples were dried at 70C until weight was stable. Chmeical compostion was conducted for the samples and dry matter %, crude protein %, crude fiber %, total carbohydrate %, and ether extract % were estimated according the the common methods. The results showed that the control treatment (irrigation every 7 days) was significantly superior to the two irrigation treatments every 14 days and 21 days in the percentage of soliable carbohydrates (42.09%). While, irrigation treatment every 14 days outperformed the other irrigation treatments and recorded the highest values of percentage of crude protein (17.07%) and the percentage of ether extract (2.73%). The irrigation treatment every 21 days gave the highest values of ash percentage (16.38%). No significant differences were recorded between the irrigation treatments for the percentage of dry matter and the percentage of crude fiber. The control treatment of humic acid outperformed the addition of humic acid interms of the percentage of crude fiber (CF), while the treatment of addition of humic acid outperformed the control in the percentages of crude protein (CP), ash and ether extract (EE). No significant differences were recorded between the application and control of humic acid treatments in dry matter % and the percentage of soluble carbohydrates. The effect of the interaction between irrigation intervals and the application of humic acid was significant for all the studied characteristics. The control treatment (irrigation every 7 days) with the addition of humic acid recorded the highest values for the percentage of soluble carbohydrates (42.92%). The irrigation treatment every 14 days with the addition of humic acid gave the highest values in the percentage of crude protein (17.81%), the percentage of ash (16.55%) and the percentage of extracted ether (2.81%). As for the irrigation treatment every 21 days with the addition of humic acid, had the highest values for the percentage of dry matter (96.25%)
A field experiment was conducted in the open field during the autumn season in year 2015 to study the effect of spraying with two organic fertilizers (Crop + Extra, Cremalga) on flowering and yield parameters of cultivars cucumber Maximus F1.
The aim of this research is to determine the role of mineral (NPK) and organic fertilization (Chicken manure, Cow manure and Chicken with Cow manure) on vegetative growth and flowering of Zinnia (Zinnia elegans). This research also examines the possi bility of relying on this organic manure to present nutrients for the plant in order to reduce mineral fertilization. The results show that the use of NPK (30, 20, 20 g/m2) or Chicken manure (2Kg/m2) has a positive impact on vegetative growth (plant height and average number of branches andleaves on the plant). They also show a positive effect on the flower developmentand flowering (early flowering, number of flowers and flower volume). These positive effects are reflected on the proportion of dry matter both in the vegetative and flowering part. The results indicate that plants fertilized with NPK or Chicken manure realize higher economic profit than the control and those fertilized with Cow manure.
This study was conducted at the vegetable field of department of horticulture and landscape design, college of agriculture and forestry ,Mosul university, during spring of 2007 and 2008, to study the effect of times and levels of nitrogen fertiliz ation on some characters vegetative growth, flowering ,and yield of summer squash .Result indicated that, the time of nitrogen fertilization at the stage of fruit-set caused a significant increased in the leaf number /plant ,length of the plant and the fresh weight/plant. While the time of nitrogen fertilization wasn't affected significantly the total yield. The level at 320 kg.N/ha caused a significant increase of the characters vegetative growth and total yield. Also result revealed that, the interaction between the stage at fruit set and nitrogen fertilization at 320 kg.N/ha led to increase the total yield .The yield was found to positively correlation with the plant length ,fresh and dry weights of plant, leaf area, fruit weight, male and female flowers, and the sex ratio.
