This study was carried out on three rootstocks of Crataegus monogyna Jacq. With one seed containing fruit C.oxycantha L. with three seeds as well as C. azaraolus Borkh, to identify the best method of Crataegus propagation. The hardwood cuttings of C.azarolus Borkh rooted in a IBA solution (4ooo ppm)showed the highest rooting percentage 20% when grown in sand as well as peat moss containing fermented arganic manure media.

This research aims study the effect of different treatments in activate and increase percentage of germination Cupressus arizonicaL.seeds to use plants in forestation projects, seeds were get from mature conifers, and tested by different treatments with control, then cultured within polyethylene bags many times to calculate indicators of germination. The results showed that the soaking the seeds Cupressus arizonicaL. in citric acid 0.1% with cold wet stratification for 30 days at 4-5c gave higher germination percentage 75%.The treatments of the soaking seeds in sulfuric acid0.1% and hydroxide sodium 0.1% with cold wet stratification for 30 days gave respectively 60%-53% .But superiority was not significant. Other treatments; soaking the seeds in tap water 24h with cold wet stratification for 30 days gave only 36%.But the control treatment gave lower germination percentage of all just only 9%. The treatment of soaking seeds in citric acid 0.1% with cold wet stratification for 30 days surpassed the rest of the treatments in effect on plant height at the end of the experiment.
The type of tillage methods is considered to be as an important factor for seed bed preparation, consequently, this will be reflected in the quantity and quality of production, different types of tillage methods were used such as turning plough, s tandard disk plough etc, for Anise Pimpinella anisum seed bed preparation, the experiment was conducted in the western area of Homs province.
This investigation was done to study the effect of spray for two times with CaCl2 0.5% and 1%, high potassium fertilizer and dipping with 2% CaCl2, in addition to packaging with polyethylene films on the storability of pear fruits "Coscia C.V". Th e results showed the significant superiority of high potassium fertilizer treatment on the other treatments concerning total and single sugars after harvesting time, while there weren't significant differences between the other treatments concerning the remaining indicators. After four months of storage, the packaging treatments were able to the significantly reduction of weight loss, in addition to preserving the firmness and total soluble solids in the comparison with unpackaged ones, the average of weight loss in unpackaged treatments was 15% and 0.65% in packaging treatments, which led to stop the storage of unpackaged treatments and continue packaging treatments until 7 months. After 7 months, the results showed that the dipping with 2% CaCl2 revealed the high weight loss, while was the least with high potassium fertilizer treatment, on the other hand there were no significant differences between treatments for firmness, total soluble solids and tetra table acidity, while total and single sugars showed significant differences between treatments. Moreover, the sensory tests assured the importance of packaging with CaCl2 treatments to improve storability and quality of pear fruits, which CaCl2 1% packaging treatment got the highest values for most of sensory tests.
The experimental was carried out to estimation the influence of competitive irrigation, organic, and chemical fertilization treatments as well as the interaction of them on coriander plant (Coriandrum sativum L.) by FRCBD in three replications.
The effect of different treatments on carob seed germination was studied. The results showed that, seed scarification was the most effective method in increasing germination rate as well as the use of concentrated sulfuric acid for 30 minutes reac hing 100%, followed by the treatment with alcohol for 60 minutes, and immersing seeds in hot water for 60 minutes. The results also indicated that the speed of germination when seeds were scarified was the best (I.D.=14.5), followed by the treatment with concentrated sulfuric acid for 30 minutes (I.D.=21.5), alcohol for 60 minutes (I.D.= 38) and immersing seeds in hot water for 60 minutes (ID.=60).
