Recommendation systems are the systems thathelp users to select suitable items from a large collection of items based on their tastes and interests. Such systems have become one of the most powerful tools in electronic commerce and social websites. Nonetheless , using these systems in e-commerce websites faces many drawbacks such as: cold start-up, scalability and sparsity. In this paper, we present a solution to cold-start-up problem, and compare between many association rule algorithms to select the most suitable one to solve the scalability and sparsity problems.

Recommender systems represents a class of systems designed to help individuals deal with information overload or incomplete information. Such systems help individuals by providing recommendation through the use of various personalization techniques . Collaborative filtering is a widely used technique for rating prediction in recommender systems. This paper presents a method uses preference relations instead of absolute ratings for similarity calculation. The result indicates that the proposed method outperform the other methods such as the Somers Coefficient.
This article examines the possibility of assigning the mobility characteristics of the modifications carried out on the dynamic algorithm to the static algorithm. Furthermore we used NS-2 simulator to evaluate our proposal and to compare it with t he performance of the standard algorithms. The results show the superiority of the modified algorithms over the standard algorithms, especially with network congestion.

This led to a strong trend to the inclusion of Wi-Fi embedded sub-system in all kinds of devices included computing side, and embedded side.The smartphones with the adoption of Wi-Fi technology had to meet two requirements: 1- quality of service support for prioritizing real-time applications. 2- inclusion of power saving functionality to achieve an operating time meets the expectations of users. This paper presents a new power management technique P-PSM, it is a combination of medium access mechanism depends on Contention Window to provide the quality of service, with standard power management technology stdPSM. In addition to evaluate its performance against a set of power management techniques under changing the number of network nodes in order to clarify the expected quantity differences in terms of both quality of service and power saving.

This paper presents an analytical study on improving the performance of virtual private networks using multi-protocol label switching( MPLS_VPN), by improving routing operations on the third level, minimizing the delays and complexity resulting from the routing on full internal routers in the traditional technical protocols settings and limited to Edge routers in networks MPLS_VPN. OPNET was used simulation software to get the results of the analysis and simulation of new technology and compare it with the old technology.
