أجريت الدراسة في مركز البحوث الزراعية (مركز الكريم) على مجموعة من أغنام سـلالة العـواس
تعداد النعاج 323 و الكباش 30 بأعمار تتراوح بين 3-4 سنوات، و كان عدد الحملان 424 بأعمار تتراوح
بين الولادة و 5 أشهر، و ذلك في الفترة 2002 -2003 .أخضعت الحيوانـات لظـروف بيئيـة و تغذويـة
متماثلة، و نفذ البرنامج الصحي المتبع في المركز.
A study conducted at Marj Al Kareem (The Scientific Agricultural Centre
for Researches) in cooperation with Damascus University Faculty of
Agriculture, The target group was Awassi sheep; about 323 ewes, 30 rams of
the age "3-4 years", 424 lambs form the age 1 day to 5 months during the
season 2002-2003. The animals have been put under the same nutritional and
environmental conditions, and the same health care program.

Aiming to study the effect of propolis powder on some blood
parameters of sheep, propolis powder was used in feeding of sheep
by adding it in the form of dry powder .
The research was carried out Syrian Awassi sheep which they are
locally existed
This experiment is done on (24) male awassi lamb whish are
divided into four categories: the first category took normal water
and is considered as control group. The other three groups took
water processed with different Magnetic Field : 500, 1500, 2000
**Gauss in a series.
Thirty weaned Awassi lambs (٧٥ days old), reared in the metabolic unit at
the College of Agriculture, University of Damascus, were randomly divided into
٥ groups to study the effect of consumed crude protein level available in the
rations on the daily gain rate, live body weight and the food converting rate.
The research was conducted on 25male lambs of Awassi
sheep to compare the effect of using different levels of whole
cotton seeds(WCS). The experiment extended for 70 days,
experimental units were rested, then left for an adaptation period of
10 days, during the adaptation period, the animals were housed in
one pen, in the end of the adaptation period, the lambs were
individually weighed, then divided according to live weight into six
equal groups of an average weights (24-25) kg each.
The research was conducted on 25male lambs of Awassi
