The Objective of this study was to prepare Paracetamol Microcapsules using Gelatin type A and Gum Arabic as a hydrophilic polymers. Microcapsules were prepared by complex Coacervation. Microencapsulation Yield (MEY) and microencapsulation efficacy (MEE) were investigated with respond to three variables including: Ratio of core to wall material (2:1, 4:1, 6:1), Stirring Speed (200, 300, 400) rpm and Drying method (Air at room temperature, Oven at 26ºC). The results showed that increasing core to wall material leads to increase in both MEE & MEY. The same effect was obtained when increasing stirring speed. Finally the change in a way drying leads to unnoticeable change in both MEE & MEY. Optimum MEE & MEY were obtained when using 6:1 core to wall material, 400 rpm in both two ways of drying.

Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is among the most economically important crops world-wide and in Syria as well. It is highly responsive to different tissue culture techniques. In vitro culture of potato cv. 'Draga' (mid-early) was established thro ugh meristem tip culture.
Insuring structural system ductility is a main factor justifying the reduction made on design earthquake forces. Reinforced concrete shear wall is one of the most important systems used for earthquake resistance of buildings. In this research, many factors affecting curvature ductility of shear wall sections are studied. These factors are reinforcement ratio, reinforcement distribution (uniform and concentrated), axial force level, section length, and material properties. Results show that increasing reinforcement ratio, will reduce ductility in case of uniform reinforced shear walls, but it stays stable in case of concentrated reinforcement. As for axial force level, curvature ductility becomes lower as axial force increases and almost diminishes when it becomes more than half ultimate axial force bearing capacity.
Asphalt concrete was used for the first time in Syria as a tightening material for dam Sourani. It was used in this dam as a surface facing on the front slope. Use of asphaltic concrete under climatic conditions prevailing in Syria, particularly h igh temperatures, is discussed in the paper. To achieve this goal, a number of bituminous concrete mixes, designed using the same constituent components in Sourani dam, were experimentally tested and analyzed. To determine the effect of the expected maximum temperatures for Sourani dam, a program depending on Energy balance was developed. Possible methods of reducing the effect of the high temperature in order to increase the stability of the asphalt surface facing are analyzed. In this context, the facing was plastered by a light-color, which led to a decrease in the temperature of the asphalt surface facing by about 20 degrees Celsius. The facing was also plastered by placing a concrete layer above it, which led to a decrease in the temperature of the asphalt surface facing by about 25 degrees Celsius.
This study aims to examine factors influencing the customer switching behavior in the Syrian banking sector, as this is the first study of its kind in the Syrian Arab Republic. This study will help the departments of banks to understand the factors t hat drive customers to switch their banks to another and develop strategies that help reducing the proportion of the switching they have.
The effect of different concentrations of phosphate and nitrate and soil extracted on the isolated growth isolation of Scendesmus acutus which is isolated from some local aquatic areas has tested in this research, the number of cells and growth ran ge and duplicated time of all algal cultures among thirty five days has counted. The highest growth range was 3.90 by using a mixture of the three solutions in concentrations (1g/l nitrate + 0.05g/l phosphate + 10 ml / 100 of soil solution), the numbers of cells reached to 8861.11 in the twenty fourth day of culture, and in the lowest duplicated time 10.85, whereas the highest growth range was by using soil solution alone 2.86 and the lowest duplicated time 2.13 at concentration 16/100ml, whereas the growth range decreased and duplicated time increased by using nitrate and phosphate solution all by its own, while the highest growth range reached to 2.13 and 1.76 and lowest duplicated time 3.39 and 4.11 in order.
