damascene proverbs was (38) values. they are distributed among
five groups, classified and arranged in descending order.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of internal
auditing units in managing risks in Jordanian insurance corporations.
To achieve the objective of this study, a survey questionnaire
consisting of the three sections: Risk assignments، risk assessment and
risk responsiveness was distributed.
The quality of credit portfolio depends heavily on the integrity of the decision to
grant credit, which is in turn linked to a set of policies, procedures and standards that will
reduce the faltering customers.The focus in this study was on the ris
k department in the
Syrian Real Estate Bank and the role that the department played to reduce the nonperforming
loans through the policies and procedures that it carried out and the
commitment to Monetary and Credit Council decisions related to non-performing loans.
The results showed that the department has an effective role in reducing non-performing
loans, and it currently faces set of difficulties inits work in.The most important
recommendations that have been reached are the need to launch new products with special
conditions adjusting with the current conditions, and focusing on the restructuring of the
deposits and the importance of relying on the economic legal advisory team to reach more
accurate credit decision.
This study was conducted in Lattakia Governorate in 2017, with the aim of evaluating
methods of using state-owned agricultural land (SOAL). The study methodology based on
comparative analysis of many indicators to evaluate SOAL management.
The res
ults showed that the area actually invested of the total state-owned agricultural
lands in Lattakia Governorate reached 2980 ha out of 10663 hectares, which is limited to
28% of the total available area. Most of this invested area was leased to the farmers
through social research, as a basic way for management of SOAL lands. According to that,
the area leased to farmers constituted 27.7% of the total available land, while a small area
of 21 hectares was recently invested by private investment projects (agricultural, industrial,
service, tourism) during the period (2013-2017). However, the fundamental principle of
leasing these lands to farmers is to solve the problem of squatting on a large part of SOAL
in this governorate, which amounted to about (20.9%) of the total available area.
