The power supply in remote areas has been usually provided by thermal power plants, usually diesel generators. Recently the use of renewable resources to generate electricity and protect the environment increased rapidly. Hybrid power systems may constitute the most economical solution in many applications in the near future, especially for electrification remote area. Hybrid systems by definition contain a two sources or more of power generation (or storing) to supply electricity to the loads. These sources may be pure traditional, traditional and renewable, or may be renewable only. This paper describes a case study for a remote area. It shows importance of using the hybrid system to electrify a remote area. The suggested hybrid system consists of wind turbine, PV, traditional generator, and batteries to supply a load (72 kWh/d). A real wind data related to Alsukhna near Homs is used. We perform a technical and economical analysis using Homer to determine the optimal design of a hybrid System for a Reliable Load Supply in Remote Area with least cost.

Triticale is a new crop, its major advantage in farming systems has been as good forage or grain crop for animal feed. It is possible for its utilization as dual-purpose crop. In some areas (Mediterranean conditions), it can compete with tradition al small grain forage cereals. Nevertheless, the differential response of its cultivars to the process of clipping indicate the existence of genetic variation, and the selection process may improve in its utilization as dual-purpose crop. Where all cultivars studied were better than the substituted one for identical utilization.
Solar and wind energy is considered as one of the best renewable energy resources because it Available and economical . We can take advantage of these two resources of renewable energy in Katina area in Homs for designing and building a bilateral r esources (solar-wind) electric power system, depending on the daily bending of the wind speed and the solar radiation intensity in the studied area. This research studies the design of a hybrid wind and solar system by selecting its components that available in the local market in terms of their nominal, technical specifications, based on the technical and economic studies and the corresponding international standards. The obtained results showed that we have approximately (1246.7 Kw/Year) surplus during the year for the benefit of consumers, which makes the system economically feasible for investment, as explained in research needs an additional resource to feed the load and charge the energy-savings with (3360.2 w/day) that constituting (50.4 %) of the volume of the load in addition to the practical results provides a theoretical database, whether for the researcher or the investor in the field of renewable energies, particularly in terms of the efficiency of selecting the system’s components.
The research Problem lies in the ambiguity of the association relationship between the geometrical shapes and the energy surrounding them and impacting the living things in the architectural and urban space and understanding the architectural design principles that governing the design of geometrical shapes in public and especially architectural buildings commensurate with this relationship.
This study was carried out at Karahta station, Department of Field Ccrops researches, General Commission for Scientific Agriculture Researches (GCSAR), Damascus Country Side, Syria during the 2009-2010and 2010-2011 growing seasons to estimate gene action for grain yield and its components. Seeds of the durum wheat hybrid (Sham5 X Azgar1) were grown in three replicates. Results indicated that the used genotypes had good variation to be used as parents in wheat hybridization program to achieve significant genetic advance. Mean square results showed significant differences among mean values of the five populations for all studied traits in the hybrid and in most traits, epistasis or dominance gene action occupied the first rank to the genetic effects. It was suggested that selection for most studied traits in the subsequent generations is relatively more effective than in early generations.
