Nonmelanoma skin cancer (NMSC) is the most common diagnosed malignancy. The NMSC consists of basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). The purpose is to determine and evaluate the potential clinical or pathological changes of these lesions in the last years. A group of archived cases of (NMSC) diagnosed in (1998-1999-2000) and in (2009-2010-2011) at a large university hospital in Lattakia (Alassad university hospital) was studied. The studied pathologic attributes included the histological type of BCC (nodular, superficial, infiltrating) and histological grade of SCC ( well, moderate, and poorly differentiated). Demographic features included age, sex and location. The results are: Basal cell carcinoma was the predominant form of NMSC over the two study periods. BCC/SCC rate was higher than that reported before 9 years. The most common location is the head and neck. Most cases were diagnosed among patients aged (60-80) years. Both the nodular type of BCC and the well differentiated SCC had the higher rates. These rates have changed in time but the nodular BCC remained the most common type with slight decrease (P=0.31) followed by superficial (P=0.11) and then infiltrating (P=0.28). As for the well differentiated SCC, it remained the first with a significant increase in moderately differentiated SCC (P=0.009). The majority of patients were males except for the last years; the majority of SCC cases were females.

Bladder cancer is the second most common urogenital tumor. The stage, grade, number and diameter of urinary bladder cancer is an important factors in determining prognosis of the disease. Early diagnosis and proper treatment are also critical to im prove survival. This retrospective study was performed to determine the clinico-pathological features of primary bladder cancer at first presentation at Damascus University hospitals.
The study carried out on various aged sheep between day to five months which suffered from diagnostic clinical signs of white muscle disease. Autopsy to all the sheep dead or slaughtered and record all observations and histological biopsies of different organs was collected. The most outstanding features of gross inspection were wasting, pale in visual mucous membrane, dyspnea, lung edema, and the most parts of muscle were white.
The research highlights the significance of studying and assessing the multidimensional concept of the self so as to guarantee the psychological health of the individuals who form the basis of a well-being society, and its essential role in persona lity development that positively reflects on society. It tends to make certain whether the concept of the self changes according to sex and residence. A few theories and approaches on the definition of the self have been mentioned, next to the potential difficulties while assessing such a concept.
This paper proposes a new approach for the segmentation of the side face images to obtain the ear region. The proposed approach is divided into two basic steps: The first step classifies the image pixels into skin and non-skin pixels using likelihood skin detector. This likelihood image is processed by using morphological operations to detect the ear region. In the second step, image containing ear region is isolated from side face image by using one of two methods; the first is based on experiment, while the second is based measurements. The study includes a comparison of the results between the proposed study and previous ones to identify the differences. The proposed approach is applied on a database containing 146 images of 20 persons. These images were taken under different illumination, pose, day, and location variations. The partial occlusion by hair or earing was also taken in account. The results showed that the system achieved a correct segmentation with rate 95.8%.
