This research is an attempt to approach the concept of social capital and clarify its importance, dimensions and prosperities. The study concentrates mainly on the role of social capital in the process of enhancing different aspects of political and economic development. Social capital contributes greatly in explaining the success and achievements of steady development. At the economic level of development, social capital participates in the growth and increase of production. At the social level of development, social capital contributes to the process of finding solutions for many social problems through cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experience. Politically speaking, social capital is considered the conjunction and relation that connects members of society with civil social foundations, especially with the dimension of trust. Social capital is an important mechanism of collaboration between members of society dealing transparently with each other

The research aims to study the relationship between social capital development of: a
commitment of workers to the work value and ethic and trust building, and the development of
networks of social relations, and investment potential of the library
to improve the service of
society, and the promotion of the activities of public libraries between public beneficiaries.
Descriptive methodology has been adopted to include all staff who are working at
Directorate of Culture in Latakia province libraries, amounting to almost (154) employees, due to
the small size of the research population. Comprehensive survey has been used, it was distributed
to (154) workers, a (141) questionnaires were found suitable for analysis, and the response rate
was (91.56%).
Education is one of the different levels of the main pillars of human development, and an important tool for the rehabilitation of manpower to enter the labor market in a way that contributes to improving their living conditions and living conditions
, in particular university education it represents the top of the educational pyramid. Therefore research aims to identify the concept of investment education in human capital and also recognize the concept of the labor market, also addresses the supply and analysis evolution and the reality of university education in the Syrian Arab Republic, through the analysis of quantitative and qualitative indicators of higher education and their suitability to the requirements of the labor market for the period (2000, 2010).
The research found: mismatch between higher education outputs and labor market requirements in Syria, as a result of the low efficiency of the outputs of higher education and as a sort of lack of access to higher education investment in human capital index.
This research aims at present to detect the relationship between school social behavior and self-concept among a sample of students in Second graders secondary, and the study of the differences between the gender (male and female) in the search varia
bles (school social behavior, self-concept). And the research community schools of secondary education governmental organizations in the area Sehnaya, who are students of second grade secondary school (15-17 years), have been withdrawn sample randomly, which amounted to (90) students (45 males + 45 females), and the researcher used the following tools: 1 – a measure of school social behavior, 2 - self-concept scale, after that she has tested Validity and reliability, The researcher followed the descriptive analytical method so as to its relevance to the nature of the research،she has developed a set of hypotheses and Results came as following:1- There is a statistically significant relationship between the school social behavior and self-concept among the sample search.2- There were statistically significant differences in the school social behavior depending on gender for the sample of the male.3- There are statistically significant differences in self-concept depending on the gender for the sample of the male.
In light of these findings researcher presented a set of proposals the most important was further studies and research on the school social behavior and its relationship to some psychological variables in the various educational stages (elementary, university) and the need to develop outreach programs designed to give teenagers the proper methods to learn correct school social behaviors and that lead to develop a positive self-concept.
This research aimed at determining the role of intellectual capital in developing the competitive Tishreen University Abilities in both education and scientific research. The researcher relied on the methodological approach as a general approach to r
esearch, followed the methodology of the survey, and a set of methods, including relying on secondary and primary data through a questionnaire that was organized by the researcher's knowledge of published literature. He distributed the questionnaire to 331 members of the faculty of Tishreen University, 263 of which were recovered, and 13 were not valid for analysis in the research community comprised of staff in Tishreen University faculty, of the 2376 respondents according to statistics of the Directorate of Statistics and Planning, and then used the appropriate statistical tests, such as simple regression, and rely on a programme SPSS is applying to be a tool for analysis of Data available. The main conclusion was a moral role, an Acceptable correlation between intellectual capital and competitive ability. Some suggestions and recommendations were presented to improve the relationship, which is the most important: the need to work for improvement of the level of education and scientific research in order to achieve the university's competitive ability.

short term debt financing, however, the
researcher sees that this kind of debt will have a weak impact on the
profitability of Syrian private banks for not having long term debt
financing. Thus this study discussed the impact of capital structure on
profitability at Syrian Private Banks, it answered questions where if there
were a significant impact of retention ratio, debt ratio, and leverage ratio
on profitability measured by return on assets, return on equity, and net
investment margin.
