The equation of towers height calculation carryingpower transmission lines at their intersection with engineering installation is one of the methods of designing power nets,the solution of which depends on the traditional method for calculating conductors coordinates. Sometimes this problem becomes so complicated or impossible to solve, therefore, we have to use the space solution mainly when the wind direction made an angle with these transmission lines and the points of hanging height difference. In this case it is better to use the vector method which we used at the present work. We used a mathematical model to calculate the minimum point coordination of the transmission lines curves and the minimum distance between the engineering installation and that of these transmission lines, and the suitable carrying towers heights, a cording to the permissible electrical equipment laws. So we could find the suitable towers height coordinates by using the C++ applicable program. Calculation errors between traditional and vector method reaches high value which increases with the slope angle increasing of conductors.

This research present broadband over power lines (BPL) technology as an effective option for Syrian Arab republic since this technology basically based on existing network which supply the electricity to the public use.
This paper shows a new approach to determine the presence of defects and to classify the defect type online based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) in electrical power system transmission lines. This algorithm uses current and voltage signals samp led at 1 KHz as an input for the proposed ANNs without the involvement of a moving data window, so input data will be processed as a string of data. The model depends on three neural networks one for each phase and another fourth neural network for the involvement of the ground during the fault. Response time of the classifier is less than 5 ms. Moreover modern power system requires a fast, robust and accurate technique for online processing. Simulation studies show that the proposed technique is able to distinguish the fault type very accurate. Also this technique succeeded in determining of all defect types under all system conditions, so it is 100 percent accurate, so it is suitable for online application.
High Voltage Direct Current systems have been used for transporting electrical energy for very long distances, at high voltages (100- 1000 kv). On utilize thyristorized or transistorized power converters, one converter is working as rectifier at s ending side, and the other is working as inverter at receiving side. Back to Back Converters are used also where the rectifier and inverter are at the same station, transmission line has hundreds of meters as long.
