several factors should be considerate when
fabricating zirconia-based crowns to achieve maximum shade
symmetry with adjacent natural teeth. Abutment color is one of the
before most important factors due to its effect on the final restoration
ceme
ntation. Therefore, this study aims to detect the effect of different
abutment shades on zirconia-based crown color.

Objective: is to study the effect of colored (non-opaque) adhesive resin cement and opaque adhesive resin cement on color matching of full ceramic crowns set on severe discolored abutments.
Materials and Methods: Sample consisted of 15 full cerami
c (IPS e-max press) crowns (A1 Vita Classical Guide) set on severe discolored abutments (ND9) and divided into 3 equal groups (1) left without adhesive (2) adhered with colored Adhesive Resin Cement (3) adhered with opaque Adhesive Resin Cement. The color of these full ceramic crowns was analyzed in the cervical, medium and incisal third using digital color analyzer (Easy Shade Compact); and the values of color change (∆E) were studied and compared with (∆E) of one full ceramic (IPS e-max press) crown (A1 Vita Classical Guide) set on non-discolored abutment (ND1).
Results: showed that White Opaque (WO) Adhesive Resin Cement improved the ∆E values in the full ceramic crowns bonded on severe discolored abutments, were relatively better than the colored cement. However, both kinds of the cements did not reach a color matching level that we can clinically accept.

The idea of use ceramic margins for metal-ceramic crowns was founded to
overcome problem of grayness for gingival margins that caused by metal collar in metal-ceramic crowns ,
but at the same time there are a lot of cautions on decrease mechanical
resistance for these restorations.
This study aims to study fracture resistance of metal-ceramic crowns with ceramic margins in 1 or 2 mm.
long, and compare it with mechanical resistance of metal-ceramic crowns with metal collar.
Primary tooth crown shapes and dimensions are poorly
investigated in Arab Countries.
The aim of this study was to establish normative data on crown
morphological description and dimensions of primary molars for the
Syrian children.
