Objective: is to study the effect of colored (non-opaque) adhesive resin cement and opaque adhesive resin cement on color matching of full ceramic crowns set on severe discolored abutments. Materials and Methods: Sample consisted of 15 full ceramic (IPS e-max press) crowns (A1 Vita Classical Guide) set on severe discolored abutments (ND9) and divided into 3 equal groups (1) left without adhesive (2) adhered with colored Adhesive Resin Cement (3) adhered with opaque Adhesive Resin Cement. The color of these full ceramic crowns was analyzed in the cervical, medium and incisal third using digital color analyzer (Easy Shade Compact); and the values of color change (∆E) were studied and compared with (∆E) of one full ceramic (IPS e-max press) crown (A1 Vita Classical Guide) set on non-discolored abutment (ND1). Results: showed that White Opaque (WO) Adhesive Resin Cement improved the ∆E values in the full ceramic crowns bonded on severe discolored abutments, were relatively better than the colored cement. However, both kinds of the cements did not reach a color matching level that we can clinically accept.

The purpose of this in vitro study to evaluate the effect of ceramic primer on the bond strength of adhesive resin cement to zirconia ceramic surface.
Usually, it's hard to reach the final color identity with normal teeth when using full glass ceramic, but this matter is very important for the cosmetic successful of these restorations. This in vitro study evaluated the effect of cement color on the final color of full crown glass ceramic of system IPS e.max.
Background Resin bonded fixed partial dentures appeared to prevent the excessive preparation of dental tissue Investigation of surface treatments to improve the bond of resin cements to metals may contribute to the longevity of these restoration s. Due to the potential lack of ideal preparation form the type of alloy and its surface pretreatment may have clinically relevant correlations with the retentive strength of castings to minimally retentive preparations Aim The aim of this search is to study the bonding resin cement strength to different types of the metal alloy due to the surface treatment Purpose Evaluate the effects of two different surface treatments on shear bond strength SBS between a palladium silver alloy Pb Ag and commercially pure titanium CP Ti cast alloy with resin luting cements
