The aim of this research is to study the main factors which are driving the Syrian consumer to visit a mall. To achieve the study goals, a questionnaire has been developed and distributed to 120 customers in five malls in Aleppo city. The results sho
ws that there are a significant and positive relationship between prices, integrated services, variety of goods, promotion, and the availability of entertainment tools. This research has provided some recommendations that able the mall store managers to understand consumer behavior to attract them to shop at malls.
Organizations face significant challenges affecting their performance,
especially as they operate in an unstable environment. This study aims to investigate
the effect of market orientation on organization‘s performance, through a survey
covering
Syriatel and MTN Centers in Tartous Governorate. This study's data have
been collected through a questionnaire designed to measure market orientation and
environmental variables. The SPSS program is used for obtaining results. This
research shows a positive relationship between market orientation and
environmental variables and the organization’s performance in general. The value
of the correlation coefficient between the independent variables and the dependent
variables is 73%, and the coefficient of determination is 53.2% when the degree of
confidence is 95%. This study also shows that technological turbulence, as a
component of environmental variables, has a negative effect on organization‘s
performance, whereas both intelligence generation and market troubles have a
positive effect on organization‘s performance.
This study aims to ascertain the level of application-oriented market dimensions of
the three (customer orientation, competitors orientation, and Internal Functional
Orientation), and identify the impact of this application on the competitiveness o
f
organizations in Lattakia and developments on the ISO, in addition to measuring the level
of a culture oriented to the market in mentioned organizations, and This study is important
mainly from the fact that the study environment, and a sample study new to the
application-oriented market in industrial organizations, as is the trend in the market of
modern management techniques applied in many industry organizations successful in
today's business world, which is characterized by changes rapidly, and intense competition
in the market, The study found that industrial organizations included in the research
community applied to go the market with a high degree, and that this application affect its
competitiveness, and organizational culture necessary to go in the market place and by
acceptable, The study recommended the need for follow-up to companies to studies
dealing with the concept of market orientation and how to apply and benefits in order to be
able to compete in domestic and global market.
