Parental Efficiency in Raising Children from an Adolescent Perspective

This study aimed at investigating parents’ efficiency in raising children from their adolescent children’s perspective. A test was applied on a sample of 291 male and female secondary school students (from both general and commercial education types) aged 15 to 16. The sample included 146 females and 145 males. The difference in the efficiency of raising children between fathers and mothers were measured, taking into account the variables of mothers’ work (working mother/housewife). The differences between students according to their gender and type of education were also measured. The results showed some differences in efficiency between fathers and mothers in favor of the mothers. There was also a correlation between mothers’ and fathers’ efficiency. No significant differences were found between the male and female students in their evaluation of parents’ efficiency in raising children. No significant differences were also found between working mothers and housewives. The differences in averages, however, came in favor of working mothers The research suggests carrying out some training courses for parents on how to bring up their children in the best way and how to give them the best attention.

The role of the mother in the moral education of the child

This study deals with the role that the mother should play in raising her children in a virtuous and benign education in order to provide them with the necessary values that enable them to assume their future responsibilities at all levels. The study deals with many aspects, first: the nature of the role of the mother in the upbringing of her children, second: the general rules used in raising children, the moral needs of childhood, Sixth: Ethical values necessary for raising children healthy education. In conclusion, several proposals were made to contribute to the goal of the study to take advantage of the mother's creative abilities in raising children and to prepare a healthy, moral and moral generation armed with good morals as a way to make a successful future.

تنبع مشكلة البحث في معرفة هل ساهم الإنفاق على التعليم في الدول النامية في رفد التنمية المنشودة بكوادر بشرية عالية التأهيل وفي مجالات متعددة بغية تضيق الفجوات بينها وبين الدول المتقدمة صناعيا. أما الأهمية فهي تتناول مدى مساهمة الإنفاق على التعليم كونه كلفة من جهة واستثمارا ذو عائد مستقبلي من جهة أخرى فيما لو أحسن توجيهه وفي مجالات محددة متخذة من رؤية مستقبلية تنطلق من إستراتيجية واضحة المعالم تأخذ بنظر الاعتبار التحولات الكبيرة في مجال سوق العمل في ظل تحولات الاقتصاد نحو المعرفية وما يترتب على ذلك من عن طبيعة سوق العمل التي سادة في الاقتصادات الصناعية التقليدية التي تعليم ومهارات وخبرات تكاد تختلف كليا استمرت حتى العقود الأخيرة من القرن العشرين.
