The aim of the current research is to explore the relationship between academic selfregulation
and in a sample of students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty
of Education at Damascus University, in addition to knowledge of the diff
erences in both
academic self-regulation and due to specialization and sex (males and females). The
sample consisted of (115) male and female students with 62 students from the Faculty of
Education and (53) males from the Faculty of Civil Engineering. The number of male and
female students was( 59 females and 56 students. .
For this purpose, the measure of academic self-regulation was used, after verifying their
sincerity and persistence with the sample members of the current study. The results showed
that the effect of both specialization and gender had a significant impact on academic selfregulation
Choosing the university Specialty is one of the most important decisions that a
student must take at the beginning of his university life, and the student faces a range of
difficulties that may affect the process of choosing the profession of the f
uture. This
research deals with some of the factors that may affect the student's choice of university
Specialty. The extent of these factors will be determined by selecting the following
hypotheses:
- There is a statistically significant relationship between parents' pressure, and the
inability of the student to choose the right university Specialty.
- There is a statistically significant relationship between the low economic level of
the family and the inability of the student to choose freely.
- There is a statistically significant relationship between the student’s age and his
inability to choose the university Specialty that suits him.
- There is a statistically significant relationship between the intervention of friends
and the inability to choose the appropriate Specialty.
- There is a statistically significant relationship between the freedom to choose
university major and academic excellence.
The researcher designed a questionnaire that was applied to a sample of fifty
students from the fourth – year students of the Department of Sociology at Tishreen
University.
The results of the research show the following:
The weakness of the role of the family such as the parents pressure, economic
aspect in the university major selecting process. I also shows the weakness of the role of
peers in the selection process, and it became clear that the young age of the student greatly
affects the process of selection of his Specialty, but that success and excellence is not
limited to those who choose their own specialty, A person may succeed and make his life a
success story as long as he has the will to do so.
شهدت السنوات الأخيرة تطورات و تغيرات سريعة و متلاحقة أثرت - بصورة مباشرة أو غير مباشرة - في مهنة المحاسبة و المراجعة في العالم أجمع و في اليمن بصفة خاصة. كما أثرت تلك التغيرات في البيئة التنافسية في سوق المراجعة. و قد اتجهت الجهود لمواجهة تلك المنافس
ة نحو تحسين الجودة و بالطبع تقليل مخاطر المراجعة. و استعين بعدد من الوسائل و الاستراتيجيات و كان من ضمنها استراتيجية التخصص المهني للمراجع.
و تمثلت مشكلة الدراسة في الإجابة عن سؤالين هما: ما أهمية التخصص المهني للمراجع؟ و هل يفيد ذلك التخصص في تقدير مخاطر المراجعة في بيئة الأعمال الحديثة في اليمن؟ و للإجابة عن هذا السؤال هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف طبيعة التخصص المهني للمراجع و دراسة أهمية ذلك التخصص بالنسبة إلى المراجع. فضلاً عن إجراء دراسة ميدانية انصبت على بيئة الأعمال اليمنية، و شملت عينة من المراجعين. و جاءت نتائج الدراسة النظرية و الميدانية لتشير إلى أهمية التخصص المهني للمراجع عموماً فضلاً عن أنَّه يعمل على تحسين تقدير
مخاطر المراجعة.
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى امتلاك معلمات المرحلة الأساسية الدنيا في
المدارس الخاصة التابعة لوزارة التربية و التعليم لمنطقة إربد الأولى في الأردن
للكفايات التدريسية من وجهة نظرهن في ضوء متغيرات المؤهل العلمي، و سنوات
الخبرة، و التخصص، و لتحقيق
هدف الدراسة تم اختيار عينة تكونت من (168) معلمة
يعملن في (30) مدرسة خاصة في محافظة إربد من أصل (315) معلمة يعملن في (94)
مدرسة خاصة، و قد قام الباحثان بتصميم أداة الدراسة، و التي تضمنت (38) كفاية
تدريسية لقياس مدى امتلاكهن للكفايات.
