The aim of this study is to specify the difficulties that face teachers in
using the computer and the internet in teaching and learning from the
perspective of graduated students of Education department in Albaath
University, and to indicate the effect of the variables of scientific degree
and having ICDL certificate on estimating those difficulties.
This research aimed at investigating the effect of using computer on
the achievement of the students in curricula and teaching methods of
Islamic education in AL-alBayt University. The sample of the study
consisted of all the students in the curri
cula and teaching methods of
Islamic education course in Al-alBayt University in academic
2006/2007, and their numbers were (80) male and female students. The
sample consisted of (12) male and (28) female students who were taught
by using computer (experimental group),(13) male and (27) female
students who were taught by using traditional method (control group).

متلازمة العوز المناعي المكتسب "مرض الإيدز" بمساعدة الحاسوب (CAI) من خلال
برنامج تعليمي محوسب، و مجموعة ضابطة تكونت من (25) طالبـاً، تـم تدريـسهم
الوحدة نفسها بالطريقة المعتادة.

The deep-well pumps are practically and widely used to pump water up
from wells. These pumps are driven by squirrel-cage induction motors
where the pump is directly connected with the induction motor it drives.
They form a pump-motor set or a deep
-well set.
Economioally, the cost of digging a well proportionates with the diameter
of the hole opening.
This diameter is related to the deep-well set dimensions. Whenever the
dimensions of the deep-well set are small, the cost of digging a hole will
be notably less.
From here, in this research we shall test the possibility of desiging a
deep-well induction motor with a voltage of f =150 Hz frequency in a
small size. and in trifold speed of the induction motor which has same
power and functions as the motor with a voltage of f = 50 Hz frequency
and where the essential parameters of the motor aren’t worse than the
motor with f = 50 Hz Frequency.
Information Technology and systems theory with its powerful
mathematical techniques, such as modeling, simulation and optimization,
are very useful tools in the planning, development and management of
water resources. These techniques are even mor
e important in areas
suffering from limited water resources. Their application may contribute
efficiently to the optimal use of the available water resources. The author
has carried out, in cooperation with other researchers, pioneering
experiments of these techniques in Syria, mainly applied to Barada and
Fijeh springs in Damascus area. The present paper aims at presenting
parts of these experiments, study and analysis of the results, beside
revealing the advantage of expanding their application to similar
resources.
