Uric acid (UA) has a role in pathogenesis of several metabolic abnormalities including insulin resistance (IR) and their related disorders. The aim of this report is to review the available evidences that reveal the association between UA, IR and related disorders via both noninsulin and insulin-based IR indices. METHODS: The published literature was surveyed using Google Scholar and PubMed entering the terms Obesity, UA, IR, Metabolic Syndrome (MetS), Gestational Diabetes (GDM), Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). RESULTS: UA had substantial positive relationships with IR, as well as obesity, MetS, DM, GDM, and PCOS. Evidently UA with a role in oxidative stress, endothelial dysfunction and induction of inflammation may cause IR in totality, the major factor in development of MetS and related diseases. Homeostatic Model Assessment of Insulin Resistance (HOMA-IR), insulin based IR index, correlated positively with UA. Moreover, specifically triglyceride to high density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (TG/HDL-C), visceral adiposity index (VAI), lipid accumulation product (LAP), triglyceride to fasting glucose (TyG) index are noninsulin-based IR indices of positive correlations with UA. MetS score for IR (MetS-IR), a non-insulin based IR index, had significantly proportional correlations with MetS components as well as UA level. UA to HDL-cholesterol ratio (UHR) was a pronounced statistical predictor of MetS and diabetes control. UA positively associated with hyperinsulinemia and IR in prediabetes. CONCLUSION: Succinctly UA can be an emerging biochemistry marker of predictive role in IR, MetS and related anomalies. Using high strength concrete made a big step in designing and constructing reinforced concrete structures. In this research, shear resistance of high strength concrete beams with average resistance of (65Mpa) and without shear reinforcement was ca lculated by making Experimental tests, also we studied the effect of cross section shape on shear resistance, and measured the deflection in the middle of the beams then we compared these results with the mathematical results and with results from other researchers, finally we developed a relationship to determine shear capacity in high strength concrete T beams.
Objective: To examine associations between hematological parameters ( hemoglobin, hematocrit, platelet (PLT(, red blood cell (RBC), and white blood cell (WBC)) and components of metabolic syndrome (MS) among the Syrian Coast population. Methods: Study subjects were 304 patients (140 men and 164 women), aged between 20-75 years, who attended endocrine and cardiac clinic in Tishreen and Al-Assad University Hospitals during the period from February 2015 to April 2016. MS was classified according to the International Diabetes Federation criterion. Odds ratios (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) of MS were calculated using logistic regression procedures. Results: Hematologic parameters were significantly associated with MS components (Ptrend<0.05). and they increased with increasing number of MS components in both men and Women, All haematological parameters were positively associated with BMI, waist circumference, Triglycerides and negatively associated with HDL in male and female subjects. Among men, MS risk increased across successive quartiles of HB (OR= 4.43,9.27 and 10.18), HCT (OR= 3.57, 6 and 7.2), PLT (OR= 2.19, 4.18 and 20.86), WBC (OR= 1.59, 5.7 and 7.13) and RBC (OR= 4.49,5.32 and 9.68) as compared with those in the lowest reference group (P ≥ 0.0001). Among women, those in the highest quartiles of (HB, HCT, PLT , WBC and RBC) had respectively (1.26, 1.88, 10.93, 3.93 and 3.55)-fold increased odds of MetS as compared with those in the lowest reference group. Our findings provide further evidence in support of using hematological markers for early detection of individuals at risk for MS.

Another problem identified is that usually, it requires a massive training corpus. Therefore, this research focus on mitigating such barriers. Several approaches have been identifying towards building document information extractors focusing on different disciplines. This research area involves natural language processing, semantic analysis, information extraction, and conceptual modelling. This paper presents a review of the information extraction mechanism to construct a generic framework for document extraction with aim of providing a solid base for upcoming research.
This paper reviews and summarizes human evaluation practices described in 97 style transfer papers with respect to three main evaluation aspects: style transfer, meaning preservation, and fluency. In principle, evaluations by human raters should be t he most reliable. However, in style transfer papers, we find that protocols for human evaluations are often underspecified and not standardized, which hampers the reproducibility of research in this field and progress toward better human and automatic evaluation methods.
