The project aims to establish a facility specialized in the production and propagation of potato seeds in agricultural fields in the Aqaba Governorate so that its production conforms to the conditions of potato circulation in Jordan according to the local instructions related to the import and export of potatoes. So that certified varieties that are free of viral diseases, mold and wilt diseases are packed in clean bags of 25 kg capacity, and that is through the production of pre-base and base seeds and ending with the production of table potato seeds from the approved varieties in Jordan. Based on the results of the financial analysis and considering the project’s internal rate of return higher than the discount rate, it was concluded that the idea of the investment project is convenient and economically feasible, as the net present value of the project is positive, which is 5 million Jordanian dinars, and the project also provides 17 job opportunities for the people of the region.

This paper presents a global summarization method for live sport commentaries for which we have a human-written summary available. This method is based on a neural generative summarizer. The amount of data available for training is limited compared t o corpora commonly used by neural summarizers. We propose to help the summarizer to learn from a limited amount of data by limiting the entropy of the input texts. This step is performed by a classification into categories derived by a detailed analysis of the human-written summaries. We show that the filtering helps the summarization system to overcome the lack of resources. However, several improving points have emerged from this preliminary study, that we discuss and plan to implement in future work.
Automatic summarisation has the potential to aid physicians in streamlining clerical tasks such as note taking. But it is notoriously difficult to evaluate these systems and demonstrate that they are safe to be used in a clinical setting. To circumve nt this issue, we propose a semi-automatic approach whereby physicians post-edit generated notes before submitting them. We conduct a preliminary study on the time saving of automatically generated consultation notes with post-editing. Our evaluators are asked to listen to mock consultations and to post-edit three generated notes. We time this and find that it is faster than writing the note from scratch. We present insights and lessons learnt from this experiment.
Recent vision-language understanding approaches adopt a multi-modal transformer pre-training and finetuning paradigm. Prior work learns representations of text tokens and visual features with cross-attention mechanisms and captures the alignment sole ly based on indirect signals. In this work, we propose to enhance the alignment mechanism by incorporating image scene graph structures as the bridge between the two modalities, and learning with new contrastive objectives. In our preliminary study on the challenging compositional visual question answering task, we show the proposed approach achieves improved results, demonstrating potentials to enhance vision-language understanding.
According to the high specificity and sensitivity of ELISA test, we tried in this preliminary study, to certify the usefulness of ELISA test in the detection of specific antibodies (IgG) to cutaneous leishmaniasis(CL) in SYRIA, in order to certify the diagnosis of this disease by using the classic methods (observation microscopic – culture).
In this paper, we present a system design of the photovoltaic pumping to provide electrical and economic comparison between two different energy supply systems: the first depends on the PV panels, and the second depending on the public grid. farm area study in the eastern countryside of Homs with the aim to supply water for irrigation and drinking.
