The main objective of the study is to study the early results of the maintenance of the pleura during the preparation of the internal breast artery in the maintenance of respiratory function and its role in the prevention of respiratory and hemorrhagic complications following its opening and comparison with the global studies conducted in this area. The study included patients with Cabg of both sexes aged between 40 years and 72 years of age who were the EF% from 40% in Tishreen University Hospital in Lattakia as a prospective study during 2017. The study included 30 patients divided into two groups: Fifteen patients had closed their pleura, and the second group (15) patients had pleural ulcers. Patients were followed within one week after surgery. We conclude from our study that hemorrhagic complications and need for blood transfusions and respiratory complications were significantly less when maintaining the pleura closed in the first group.

This study was preformed to evaluate early results of Stenting PTCA by determinig complications in the first 24 hrs after Stenting PTCA, we excluded patients without stents. Stenting PTCA was performed to 60 patients between 31/8/1998 and 31/2/199 9 and we monitored patients for 24 hrs.
This research aims to compare the therapeutic results of Silodosin, Doxozosin in patients with Benign Prostate Hyperplasia. A random sample was taken of (67) patients at Assad University Hospital in Lattakia, and was divided into two groups: the firs t group was treated using Silodosin, and the second group was treated using Doxozosin. We studied the therapeutic development of patients after one month, three months, six months of treatment. Measurements were recorded (Ipss, Qol, Qmax) for both groups. Using appropriate statistical methods, we reached the following results: Equality of the two groups of patients before applying the treatment. The effectiveness of both drugs (Silodosin and Doxozosin) in the treatment of patients with Benign Prostate Hyperplasia, where results showed an improvement in therapeutic measurements (Ipss, Qol, Qmax) by time. The effectiveness of the drug Silodosin in the treatment of patients with Benign Prostate Hyperplasia, compared with the efficacy of the drug Doxozosin, where results showed that therapeutic measurements (Ipss, Qol, Qmax) recorded a better improvement within the first group that was treated using Silodosin when compared with the results of measurements of the second group that was treated using Doxozosin
Prevention is the key to reduce the incidence of Contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) and it begins with identification of the high risk patients. Aim: Identifying the different risk factors for CIN . Methods: This is a prospective analytical study that has included 156 patients, all underwent an objective exam, hematochemical measurements. The patiemts were divided into two groups depending on the incidence of CIN defined as an increase in creatinine level equal or more than 25% from baseline values within 48-72 hours after the coronary procedure. Results: Several independent risk factors for CIN were identified: age equal or more 70 year (OR:4.11, P:0.004( , contrast volume more than 200 ml )OR:3.2,P:0.01(, anemia (OR:2.7,P:0.01), urgent cardiac catheterization) OR:3.3,P:0.02(,diabetic nephropathy (OR:4.9,P:0.04). Conclusion: . Increased contrast volume ,urgent cardiac catheterization elderly patients , anemia and diabetic nephropathy are associated with increased risk for CIN.
Radical cystectomy is the most effective therapeutic approach for patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Due to the incidence of sexual and continence complications associated with this procedure, alternative techniques such as cystectomy wi th partial prostatectomy have been described in selected cases in order to reduce complications. To evaluate the possible oncological risks of prostate-sparing cystectomy, and to determine the associated pathological findings in the prostate for patients with invasive bladder cancer treated by radical cystoprostatectomy.
