A chemical sensor was prepared by deposition of polypyrrole films by chemical polymerization of pyrrole at room temperature, using hexahydrate ferric chloride as oxidant, on a ceramic substrate placed on the bottom of the beaker (in-situ polymeriz ation). On the substrate two interdigitated metallic electrodes were priory deposited by screen printing, to reduce film resistance. These films were characterized by different methods namely FTIR, UV-Vis, XRD.
The ideal goal of periodontal instrumentation is to effectively remove plaque and calculus without causing root surface damage and various instruments have been designed to achieve this goal. Root planing aim to create a root surface which is biolo gically acceptable to surrounding soft tissues and increase root surface roughness. Aim of study: To evaluate the increasing of root surface roughness produced by hand curettes and piezoelectric ultrasonic instrument with different power settings .
Residual Calcium Hydroxide dressing on the root canal is considered one of the reasons of endodontic treatment failure. So ,the removal of this dressing completely before filling is required. The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficiencies o f passive ultrasonic irrigation And increasing the instrumentation of the medicated canal to the file one size larger than MAF in removal of Calcium Hydroxide dressing.
During this study, various types of silicon oxide were prepared as aerogel and xerogel using multiple precursors and different drying technics. Some of these samples were prepared from Sodium silicate (waterglass) Na2SiO3 as a precursor which is a cheap material, while others were prepared using tetraethoxysilane (TEOS).
