Educational data mining aims to study the available data in the educational field and extract the hidden knowledge from it in order to benefit from this knowledge in enhancing the education process and making successful decisions that will improve th
e student’s academic performance. This study proposes the use of data mining techniques to improve student performance prediction. Three classification algorithms (Naïve Bayes,J48, Support Vector Machine) were applied to the student performance database, and then a new classifier was designed to combine the results of those individual classifiers using Voting Method. The WEKA tool was used, which supports a lot of data mining algorithms and methods. The results show that the ensemble classifier has the highest accuracy for predicting students' levels compared to other classifiers, as it has achieved a recognition accuracy of 74.8084%. The simple k-means clustering algorithm was useful in grouping similar students into separate groups, thus understanding the characteristics of each group, which helps to lead and direct each group separately.
In this research, we offered a new and simple way of
Handwriting Characters Recognition. This way extracts positions of
the black points from binary images (black, white) according to
certain coordinates which are used in the stages of training an
d
testing. The extracted positions are stored in a database according
to appropriate structure for predictive data mining.
We used training data to build a predictive model which helps
in Recognition testing data depending on the data stored in the
database. We have conducted a number of tests on different
samples of handwriting character images. We got accurate results,
within the required conditions.

الأهداف الإدارية الملقاة على عاتقها، و ذلك بسب تركيزها على تحميـل التكـاليف غيـر

اشرة على مراكز التكلفة و وحدات الإنتاج توزيعاً تحكمياً لا يستند إلى علاقة سـببية.
إن النظام الجديد لمحاسبة التكاليف و المعروف باسم محاسبة تكاليف الأنشطة و المعروف
اختصاراً بـ (ABC) هو تطور مهم في مجال تصميم نظم معلومات التكـاليف. و يقـوم
مدخل النظام الجديد على الربط بين التكاليف غير المباشرة، و التي تسمى تكاليف الصـنع
المساندة وفق نظام (ABC) ، و الأنشطة التي سببت نشوء هذه التكاليف.
من المتوقع أن يؤدي تطبيق هذا النظام إلى تحسين دور معلومات التكاليف في عمليـة
صنع القرار الإداري، لأن هذا الربط بين التكاليف و الأنشطة يقود إلى حساب تكلفة الوحدة
بشكل أكثر، كما يؤدي إلى تخطيط التكاليف و الرقابة عليها بشكل أفضل.
لكن تطبيق النظام الجديد بشكل يدوي مكلف جدا و غير فعال و ذلك بسبب الحجـم الكبيـر
للبيانات و تعدد عمليات المعالجـة، ممـا يحـتم اسـتخدام أسـاليب المعالجـة الآليـة
للمعلومات. و لذلك كان الهدف من هذا البحث هو اقتراح مدخل عملي مـن أجـل أتمتـة
النظام الجديد. و كما هو ظاهر من خلال البحث تم تصميم قاعدة بيانات ترابطية من أجـل
تطبيق النظام بشكل عملي و بصورة تمكن من تزويد الإدارة بحاجتها من المعلومات فـي
الشكل الملائم و الوقت المناسب.
