. In this research, a study of a model of reinforced concrete elevated water tank, with capacity of 900 cubic meters, supported with frame system is carried out using finite element method (FEM). The liquid mass contained in the container is modeled as the sum of two separated messes i.e. impulse mass and convective mass following the recommendations of Eurocode 8 , 2006, for cases full container. The second ones Gareane2011 method . The soil is modeled using (FEM) with energy absorbent boundaries (dampers) to prevent the combination of earthquakes waves.

The codes for sustainable homes have been introduced to drive a step-change in green building practice. It set the international standards for key elements of the design, construction and planning. It is a tool for designers and structural engineer s and real estate developers and users. This paper reviews the concept of sustainability codes through some of the world's leading experiments and implementation mechanisms . In order to reach the main points for each codes and to find out what is essential and what is linked to the characteristics of the region, this paper also present a brief explanation for the codes and limitations imposed on the building through the evaluation process in the international codes. The paper also explained degrees of classification and its effectiveness on a building, whether its binding or optional.
Design phase is one of the phases that can largely affects the lowering of performance level, i.e. conflicts in design documents, numerous modifications to be performed and the difficulty that causeatlate stages of the design process, and consequentl y delay in delivery and sometimes fail to reach the project objectives. Building Information Modeling (BIM) system is one of the effective methodologies that offers many privileges that could take part in solving these problems. The purpose of this study is revealing the influence of implementing BIM in design phase, by comparing it with traditional CAD-based systems. Case studies have been conducted for projects of residential buildings during design phase in architectural part. Findings indicate that implementing BIM in design phase for architectural discipline have shortened the time needed for producing design documents by 75%. This study could be utilized by any company working in the architectural design field, and encourages decision makers to start using BIM. Furthermore there still is a need foran extensive studies to imply other kinds of buildings and more disciplines of AEC industry.
This research includes analyzing and designing of high water tanks using elastic method. Also, analyzing the structural supporting system using the Second Equivalent Static Method, then analysis by using Linear Dynamic Method - Response Spectra M ethod utilizing Sap2000 program and performing necessary comparison.
The provision of adequate drainage and the accompanying problem of accumulation of salt in soil have plagued irrigated agriculture for centuries. Soil salinity is one of the major problems in arid and semi-arid zones. In Euphrates valley the high groundwater level and its high evaporation rate caused a serious salinity problem. This study was aimed to allocate the dangerous areas in terms of high water level resulted from the recent and expected activities. Drainage wells will be drilled at these areas in order to lower the groundwater level and prevent further soil salinity.
