In this paper, detail technical and economic feasibility study are
implemented to use the improved solvent instead of the used
solvent in Syrian field (Sodium hydroxide, NaOH) until this time, to
prevent and remove the sulfur deposits in the gas w
ells that most
suffer from this problem.
Has also been confirmed on the technical best method for
suggested solvent injection and depend on the field data of the
studied wells /Jbissah-223, Jbissah-220/ to carrying out the required
economical calculations, and the sensitivity analyzing for changes
of economical with changes of dollar exchange rate and gas
production rate from studied wells are performed, and then the
curves of economic Feasibility study resulting from the
comparison process was drawing. And recommending the use of the
improved solvent where this solvent is the most economic solvent.
The aim of this research is to study and prognosis oil and gas by utilization of Remote Sensing (RS) data Geographic Information
System (GIS) and Digital Elevation Model (DEM), and 3D. The integration of the data by using program (Arc GIS). The inte
gration data led to divide the lineaments circular structures and drainage network. Which present direct and indirection indicate on earth surface for surface and subsurface structures Which play important role in prospecting oil and gas.
The ancient people had used and kept a lot of tools and most important of
all were clay cooking pots and dishes, etc.., and they left them as remains to tell
about the way they were living and feeding . So, it was quite important to carry
out some
analysis on the organic residue of archaeological clay sherds from
cooking pots or dishes from the area of Homs from the era of the Roman and
Islam. A Special attention was focused on the analysis of lipids, which have the
properties of resisting the effect of the environment after it is absorbed in the
clay matrix. Lipids can be extracted with suitable solvents, either total
extraction, or after the treatment of the undisolved portion of the clay with
alkaline. Analysis using gas chromatography and gas chromatography - mass
spectrometery, revealed the existence of mono and di carboxylic acids,
saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, alkanes, and mono, di, and tri glycerides.
The measurement of the ratio C١٦/C١٨ gave the indication to the use of animal
fats in these pots.

In the laboratory, we conducted experiments and evaluated their results.
