In this research, we derived a non–paralyzable dead time equation shows the relation between the dead time and those factors. This equation shows the dead time as function of the applied voltage, pressure, temperature, dimensions of counter tube and type of the gas.

A simple and accurate method was developed for the analysis of carbinoxamine maleate, dextromethorphan hydrobromide and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride content in pure form and pharmaceutical preparations using HPLC. Analysis was conducted on a sili ca column (6 μm) with mobile phase consisting of ethanol – ammonium acetate (0.05 M) in rate [85:15] respectively, and at detection wavelength of 276 nmand flow rate 1ml/ min. Results were linear (correlation coefficient R > 0.9996) in the range of the studied concentrations for the active materials. The relative standard deviations (n=6) of intra and interday assay were 0.931%, 1.527% for carbinoxamine maleate and 0.717%, 1.058 % for dextromethorphan hydrobromide and 0.309%, 0.891% for pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, respectively. This method, proved to be easy, precise and economical, is useful for quality control of pharmaceutical drugs industrial samples.
In this research, we have derived an analytical equation gives dependency of the total gas pressure to operation time for halogen self-quenched GM counter tubes and organic vapor or gas selfquenched GM counter tubes. This equation indicates that t he gas pressure exponentially decreases as the operation time increases, at constant temperature of tube and constant activity that this tube exposed to.
This paper outline a new, simple, selective and sensitive spectrophotometric procedure for the quantitative determination of iron. The bidentate ligand of 2- (1-Acetyl-2-oxopropyl)acrylonitrile has been synthesized ,and determined by elemental ana lysis and infrared spectroscopy. The compound reacts with Fe(III) to form a colored complex with an absorption maxima at 400nm and 490nm. The effect of pH, amount of reagent, time, temperature and the interference of many ions on the Fe (III) determination was also estimated. Beer's law is obeyed for iron concentration in the range (0.23- 4.48μg/ ml) for spectrophotometric method and (0.56-8.4) for extraction spectrophotometric method. The molar absorptivity was in the rang 2.70x104-3.46 x 104 L.mol-1cm-1. Sandall's sensitivity was found to be 1.61 x 10 -3 – 2.07 x 10-3 μg . cm-2. The RSDs for both spectrophotometric and extraction spectrophotometric methods were below 3%. The analytical error SD/√n was within 0.021. The technique has been applied to the determination of iron in alloys and in pharmaceutical preparations.
New, accurate, sensitive and reliable kinetic spectrophotometric method for the assay of fluvastatin sodium (FVS) in pure form and capsules has been developed. The method involves the oxidative coupling reaction of FVS with 3-methyl-2-benzothiazolinone hydrazone hydrochloride monohydrate (MBTH) in the presence of Ce(IV) in an acidic medium to form colored product with lambdamax at 615 nm.
Services that demanded by users via internet network are classified in two main kinds, Services work in real time such as video and voice in real time and use UDP protocol, and other services that work in non-real time such as web browsing (HTTP) a nd file transfer (FTP) which use TCP Protocol. In this research, we study and analyze algorithms that enhance the quality of service for various applications. For real time application, we use queues disciplines, which gives high priority for these services and achieves minimum delay. For non-real time application, we study congestion control algorithms, which achieve best performance for reliable transfer process with existing the congestion in the network. We used OPNET 14.5 program for simulating various services via internet network. Simulation results show achieving minimum delay for voice service, and achieving high transmission rate for FTP application with existing of packets loss in the network.
