In this research, we try to show the major features of prolog which make it a strong expressive language about writing the expert systems and the traditional languages lacks them as Pascal language. We also provide expert system, the purpose of it is the Inventory Control by apply the Fixed-Order Quantity Model, and we clearified concept of the static and dynamic data in Prolog. Finally, we compared between the databases in prolog and some of their quires with Access and SQL. Expert systems are considered as one of the main applications of artificial intelligence, which are known as knowledge based systems. And the expert systems are computer applications which embody some non-algorithmic expertise for solving certain types of problems. For example, the problems which provide advice, analysis, classification, diagnostic, explanation, teaching, or designing…etc.

Much of the world's population experiences some form of disability during their lifetime. Caution must be exercised while designing natural language processing (NLP) systems to prevent systems from inadvertently perpetuating ableist bias against peop le with disabilities, i.e., prejudice that favors those with typical abilities. We report on various analyses based on word predictions of a large-scale BERT language model. Statistically significant results demonstrate that people with disabilities can be disadvantaged. Findings also explore overlapping forms of discrimination related to interconnected gender and race identities.
We review two features of mixture of experts (MoE) models which we call averaging and clustering effects in the context of graph-based dependency parsers learned in a supervised probabilistic framework. Averaging corresponds to the ensemble combinati on of parsers and is responsible for variance reduction which helps stabilizing and improving parsing accuracy. Clustering describes the capacity of MoE models to give more credit to experts believed to be more accurate given an input. Although promising, this is difficult to achieve, especially without additional data. We design an experimental set-up to study the impact of these effects. Whereas averaging is always beneficial, clustering requires good initialization and stabilization techniques, but its advantages over mere averaging seem to eventually vanish when enough experts are present. As a by product, we show how this leads to state-of-the-art results on the PTB and the CoNLL09 Chinese treebank, with low variance across experiments.
Information Technology and systems theory with its powerful mathematical techniques, such as modeling, simulation and optimization, are very useful tools in the planning, development and management of water resources. These techniques are even mor e important in areas suffering from limited water resources. Their application may contribute efficiently to the optimal use of the available water resources. The author has carried out, in cooperation with other researchers, pioneering experiments of these techniques in Syria, mainly applied to Barada and Fijeh springs in Damascus area. The present paper aims at presenting parts of these experiments, study and analysis of the results, beside revealing the advantage of expanding their application to similar resources.
The Quality of Service (QoS) term is refer to capability of network to prioritization and service distinguish for providing better service to some service classes and call types. Because of the lack of resources, from one side, and user's mobility from the other, provision of QoS guarantees is considered at the head of the challenges that wireless cellular mobile network systems face. Call Admission Control (CAC) is used for providing and achieving QoS guarantees in wireless systems. This paper proposes a new CAC algorithm with priority index for providing and achieving QoS guarantees on the call level in wireless systems in terms of new call blocking probabilities using multiple thresholds to determinate the number of acceptable new calls of each type of service. Results of simulation provided in this paper show that the application of proposed new CAC algorithm with priority index on the New Call Bounding Scheme (NCBS) provides a new CAC scheme which has better performance in terms of new call blocking Probabilities and guarantees any desired level of QoS for new call types with the keeping priority of handoff calls.
Improving the solubility rate of fursemide in biological media by using self-emulsifying systems and preparing them in the form of tablets in order to improve its bioavailability and reduce variations in treatment between individuals. Fursemide is classified as a fourth-class drug according to the biopharmaceutical classification due to its limited solubility and permeability.
