The importance of this scientific research stems from the increasing demand for building materials, especially the materials involved in concrete industry. The attention was directed towards finding alternative locations for primary oresin addition to the process of reconstructing old mines as the continues inequitable taking of these materials will eventually result in wasting those resources losing them before using them in an economical suitable way. We have defined the hope positions in the areas of Banias and Tartous. We can say that deterioration of volcanic products in those areaswas a direct result of suitable climatic circumstances which were predominant (weathering process, deterioration, physical erosion, and chemical like wetness, wind, rain, temperature, and surface water streaming). The tectonic which attacked those formations later served to boost the weathering and erosion degree so that it became more effective for the production of some oxides such as (calcium oxide, iron oxide, aluminum oxide, deterioration of rock components, and concentration of clay) asplain strataof clay deterioration according to geochemical analyses conducted in this research.

This study aims to identifyzeolite phases within the sedimentary-volcanic deposits in Banyas region because of their scientific and economical interest. A group of samples chosen from different sites in the region were studied using X.R.D instrument with X-powdersoftware. The studies samples were divided into three groups: Igneous, sedimentary and zeolite deposit groups. zeolite deposit, in turn, were put in two subgroups: a new zeolite and already known zeolite subgroups in other regions in S.A.R. The results of this study are quite new in Banyas region.
Study of basaltic rocks in the Rastan region showed the presence of many morphological and petrographic varieties compatible with rocks of Alhesen castle region. Chemical analyses of studied rocks proved to be alkaline rocks with sodic-potassic na ture. Rotten parts of studied rocks considered an important source of civilian installations, paving roads, and as materials for manufacture of cement, in addition to their academic importance in Petrological, paleogeographic, and tectonic studies.
Doulty is a very important economic project that fit investment climate in the Syrian coast, Recommendation was the need to encourage the establishment of such projects in the Syrian coast, because of its economic feasibility.
Rainfall is considered as one of the most difficult and complex elements of the hydrological cycle, to understand and model, due to the complexity of air operations that generate rain. The importance of research comes from the direct relationship b etween the rainfall amount and economic & social activities of the population, planning scopes of the water resources management, particularly with respect to the agricultural development. The research aims to highlight the rainfall amounts in Tartous station which is located in the southern part of the Syrian coast, and applying one model of Box-Jenkins models for the purpose of predicting future rainfall amounts. Multiple Arima models have been tested. The results showed that the model SARIMA (3,0,4) was the best one. Data were divided into 43 years to build the model and eight years to test it. The test results gave high accuracy in the performance, and the model was used to predict the values of annual rainfall for the next twenty years.
Middle Miocene deposits reveal the form of outcrops which are limited in area on the northern boards of the basin of AL-KABEER Al-Shemaly River. It is characterized by a large and fast changes in thickness and facies. This study focused on the res ults of careful Fossile analysis of 41 samples (hard and soft) which were taken from the three geological sections, through which the principal zones, which characterize middle Miocene, were confirmed depending on planktonic foraminifera. N9, -Orbulina suturalis-Globerotalia peripheroronda N10-N13-Globerotalia fohsi, Sphaaerodinellopsis subdehiscens- Globigrina drury , N14 – Globigerina nepenthes- Globerotalia siakensis. It was identified as benthic foraminifera, which has been characterized by its diversity and their increasing numbers in the northern boards of the Neogene basin and identify the lithology of these deposits consisting of alternations of limestone and limestone of medium hardness to very soft marl with different colors. This study also contributed to the detection of some paleogeographical development in the basin in that period of time.
