In this paper a robust control using a sliding mode control of the active and the reactive power generated by a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) is presented. It provides a robust regulation of the stator side active and reactive power by currents and it is suitable for both electric energy generation and drive applications. The mathematical model of the machine written in an appropriate d-q reference frame fixed with a stator flux in order to obtain the decoupled system of control. In this case the control of the active and reactive power flowing between the stator of the DFIG and the power network is synthesized using sliding mode controllers. A good performance tracking is guaranteed in terms of stator currents references.

This paper presents a new contribution the domain of sensorless speed control of doubly-fed induction generator in wind turbine applications. Where the speed and the dynamic torque are estimated and used to feedback the control loops. The proposed sensorless algorithm is robust to variations of the values of machine parameters where the estimated speed is independent of them. The algorithm avoids using differentiation which significantly improves its immunity to noise. The field oriented vector control theory is used to control the speed of the doubly fed induction machine. The used controllers in closed loops are classical proportional integral (PI). The modeling is based on the Park equations of the induction machine and on a simple model of the three phase inverter. The results of simulink on MATLAB provide good performance of the sensorless speed control.
In this Thesis, we have studied, designed and implemented an energy and economic efficient smart plug system and achieves high rates of performance. At the beginning, a comprehensive reference studying the Smart Plug devices. The Smart Plug device was studied, designed and implemented using, which Turn-Off electrical loads in Standby mode to minimize power consumption. The status of all devices connected to the smart plug is shown on the computer display using smart monitor application. The design and implementation of Smart Plug system has saved 1.3% of the total energy consumed in the home per month while achieving economic feasibility and improving the cost of the economic return of the total consumers about 0.7% through the use of the smart plug that has been implemented.
This paper presents an analytical and laboratory study of the behavior and evolution of the symmetrical components of both voltage and current of a three-phase induction motor as a function of the load torque applied to it and to increasing in the imbalance which effect the electrical grid. The effect of unbalanced voltages in the voltage source will be also examined on the distribution of motor currents in the three lines and on its performance.
This research is a study of a new control method of switching non-isolated dc-dc boost converters used in Photovoltaic systems. This method is called Sliding Mode Control (SMC), which is considered as an alternative to other methods, to keep a sta ble and constant output voltage by changing the input voltage and load current. The analyzing method of the switching nonisolated dc-dc boost converters using SMC shows the same complexity of Clasic circuits, but it gives an increasing potential and a high-dynamic response to ensure a constant output voltage reaches to 40volt by changing the input voltage in the range (16-21volt) and the load (8-13Ω). Methods to measure the accuracy, error, and efficiency of maximum power point trackers (MPPT) have been identified and presented in a schematic way, together with definitions of terms and calculations.
In this research a proportional integral differential classic (PID controller) and state feedback controller was designed to control the in the inverted pendulum and a comparison between all the cases and choose the most suitable controller using MATLAB / SIMULINK program
