Aim of the study: To study the effectiveness of using dental operating microscope and ultrasonics with Hedstrom files in removing gutta-percha and sealer from root canals. Materials and Methods: Twenty single straight rooted, extracted human mandibular premolars were prepared, filled with gutta-percha and sealer (Zinc oxide with eugenol). Specimens were then divided into two groups (N1=N2=10), and root filling material was removed using H-files with Eucalyptol (group 1); H-files with Eucalyptol, followed by using microscope with ultrasonic tip (group 2). After retreatment, the efficacy of each technique was examined at 8× magnification with a stereomicroscope then the images were analyzed using Auto-CAD 2010 according to Hulsmann and Stotz scale. Data were statistically analyzed using Mann–Whitney U-tests.

This study aimed to asses of role of obturation material (zinc oxide and eugenol cement with gutta-percha points, Resilon) on the efficiency of endodontic retreatment with Pro-taper system of the following respects: the degree of cleanliness of the canal, complications, working time.
The aim of this study was evaluation the effective of chelating solutions 17% EDTA, 0.2% Chitosan and 10% Sodium citrate by comparing the concentrations of chelated calcium ions after (1min-5min-24h) of application. The study was performed on 45 extracted single-rooted sound human. The sample was randomly divided into groups (n=3), each group 15 teeth that depend on the used solution.
Photosynthetic transport was studied as an indicator of photosynthesis efficiency in two bread wheat cultivars (ACSAD 899, ACSAD 1059) under the influence of one of the salt stress. This study was carried out in sand cultures irrigated with nutrie nt solution in a growth chamber, and 14 days seedlings were treated with 100 mM of sodium chloride. Later the electron transport rates in those plants thylakoids were measured in 21, 28, 35 days of the experiment. Electron transport rates decreased in ACSAD 899 and reached 57% in the last day of the experiment, while it was 24.6% in ACSAD 1059. The decrease in photosynthetic electron transport rate leads to a decrease in the reduction rate of CO2 and the plant productivity as a consequence. Therefore, it could be used as criterion to express photosynthesis.
This study discusses in-duct UVGI efficiency to disinfect O.R and ICU supplied air. Experiment setup was designed using three ultraviolet lamps were placed at the upper side of experimental duct, equipped with variable speed turbine to simulate flo w rates of ICU and O.R. In order to determine organism irradiance time, UV intensity distribution is measured at different levels in duct, Thenthese parameters combined in simulation program executed under LABVIEW programming environment to determine in-duct disinfection efficiency in relation to ICU and O.R designing requirement and sterility level.
