Design ground motions are typically prescribed by smooth response spectra. Engineers often prefer to use a time history that matches the target design spectrum rather than evaluate a structure for a sit of time histories that are representative of the target spectrum in an ensemble average. Generally, scaling actual time histories to match a given design spectrum can be made by two preferred methods: First, ground motions uniform scaling in time domain which is simply scaled up or down the ground motion uniformly to best match the target spectrum within a period range of interest, without changing the frequency content. Second, spectral matching in time domain which produces only localized perturbations on both the time history and the its response spectrum, where small adjustments can be made to a time history to change its response spectrum from jagged to smooth, if done properly the resulting time history can be “realistic”. The realistic nature of a time history should be judged in the time domain in terms of the non stationary character of acceleration, velocity and displacement, for that the effectiveness of the two methods is examined by applying them to adjust actual earthquake time histories to much the design spectra while minimizing perturbations on their characteristics. The procedures are utilized to scale 15 set of records, every set consists of seven records of available real records to match the Syrian design spectra. The resulting time histories are investigated and compared in terms of suitability as input to time history analysis of civil engineering structures

In this study, basic methodologies and procedures for generation synthetic time histories in time domain and frequency domain are summarized. These synthetic time histories are matching Syrian spectrum and compatible with wide range of buildings m odels and soil types according to the seismic parameters of Lattakia city. This paper will discuss the Selection and scaling criteria of three real time history records available in strong ground motion databases to satisfy the Syrian spectrum, and the suitability as input to time history analysis of civil engineering structures.
Speech denoising is a field of engineering that studies techniques used to recover the original signal from the noisy signal corrupted with different types of noise, such as broadband noise and narrowband noise, and other types present in environme nt, but the spectral subtraction technique consider the most prominent in this area . In this search we will discuss the parameters impact of the modified spectral subtraction algorithm and the time window length in the enhancement of speech that corrupted with broadband noise. We done the study and determine the ideal parameters values and the ideal window length with different values for the signal -to-noise ratio SNR for noisy speech and we discuss 18 case for each value. We done the simulation using MATLAB software and the results were compared based on improving the value of SNR for each case .
This research deals with time psychology in stories of the Holy Quran. It begins with defining time psychology and shows its kinds and their reasons, from a personal and internal time and the time of ego. Then the research moves on to reveal the ti me psychology in Arabic Literature and it begins with poetry. It displays some lines of verse that illustrate the sense of time, and then it clarifies the meaning of time psychology in the new narrative studies. After that, the research deals with time psychology in the story of the Holy Quran and the wrong estimate of time due to not realizing it because of the loss of loss of life, or unconsciousness. Then it exposes some human moments of different characters from the Holy Quran, like incidents of drowning, giving birth, moments of fear and worry, moments of departure and meeting and the moments of determining and triumph. The research demonstrates that the story in the Holy Quran can transmit human feelings, explain emotions and express psychological senses and the inner depths of the characters, using words with high level of transparency and subtlety. The words are meaningul and carefully chosen. So, all of that what has probably given the miraculous story of the Holy Quran it's superiority in both it's linguistics and semantics. Also, it exceeds high above the limited level of the human capacity.
Recently, a class of tracking techniques called "tracking by detection" has been shown to give promising results at real-time speeds. These methods train a discriminative classifier in an online manner to separate the object from the background. This classifier bootstraps itself by using the current tracker state to extract positive and negative examples from the current frame. Slight inaccuracies in the tracker can therefore lead to incorrectly labeled training examples, which degrade the classifier and can cause drift. In this paper, we show that usingSimple Online and Realtime Tracking (SORT) which is a pragmatic approach to multiple object tracking with a focus on simple, effective algorithms
In this paper, we compare the performance of sporadic tasks scheduler algorithms on a multi-core platform in order to determine the best algorithm in terms of a set of parameters adopted by researchers in this field, which in turn gives us accurate details about the quality of such algorithms when applied to a set of sporadic tasks generated according to uniformed Logarithmic probability distribution. The simulation is done using Simso simulator, which proved the reliability of high performance by the testimony of many researchers in this field, as it provides the possibility of generating tasks according to specific probability distributions, and simulates accurate details related to the characteristics of random tasks.
