Recently laser applications have been expanding to include many fields. Among these, are medical laser surgery and biological applications. It is important to understand the interaction mechanisms that may occur when applying laser light to biological tissues in order to minimize damage to the tissues resulting from extra heat applied. The aim of this study is to study the temperature distribution in living biological tissues when laser irradiation is used in a treatment by solving bio-heat equation.

This research discusses the affecting factors of biogas production in the digester, to define the optimal temperature and suitable loading rate to achieve high digester biogas production. The research focuses on the water compressed continuous flo w digester (chines model), and the results is presented and illustrated in suitable tables and curves.
This research aims to introduce a new effective method to analyze and solve thin slabs that are exposed to heat flux in full over one surface, whereas the other surface is exposed to heat exchange with the surrounding. A new equation was introduc ed by the author in order to find heat distribution against the depth of the slab. The new equation is based on Lablace equations with consideration to heat exchange with the surrounds. It was found out that when heat exchange reaches zero (insulated), then the new equation is conformed to other equations in different references. Consequently, the coefficient of linear expansion of slab material (α) was put to function at temperature α(T). Therefore, the deflections of circular and rectangular simple support slabs were found. Hence, and according to this, bending moment, shear force and torsional moments could be found for these slabs.
Effect of organic and bio fertilizers (Azotobacter and phosphate solubilizing bacteria) on production of potatoes and some soil properties was studied in Tartous. The experiment consisted of 4 treatments (control soil, soil+manure, soil+ bioferti lizer and soil+manure+biofertilizer) each replicated four time, for 2004 and 2005 seasons. Total N, available P, available K, and organic matter in soil were determined. Significant increases were observed in most of the inoculated and organic fertilized treatments compared with the control. However, the treatment (soil+manure+biofertilizer) was the best and showed significant increases in potato yield compared with other treatments especially in the next season. However, the second season was better in yield increase in all treatments than the first seacon.
It is very important to the design and development of natural isolating materials Which are used in the cover-up of solid waste landfill, clay soils or mixtures of these soils and some additions used as an impermeable liner for construction of soli d waste landfill, The permeability coefficient of the materials used in the impermeable system is the most important factors to prevent water leakage into the body of landfill site and to prevent the Leachate of leak into groundwater and soil surrounding the landfillsites. In this research has been the development and design Oedometer cell to study volumetric distortions occurring in these soils as a result of exposure of these soils to climatic conditions during the implementation of impermeable layer or after implementation due to rising temperatures in landfill because of biological interactions taking place at these landfill. It has been modified and the development of Oedometer cell to become a thermal cell So that it can control the degree of heat applied to the sample in the ring of device and then measure the volumetric changes in the sample, Oedometer cell has been linked to the permeability test system with variable head to measure the permeability of the testing sample, It was connected with the digital control , measuring and showing system for temperature and load and displacement.
This research was conducted during the growing season of 2015 at AL-Arema village of governorate Tartus, to study the effect of three spray bio-fertilizer times (1- flowering stage. 2- pods formation stage . 3- seeds formation stage), and four rat es of biofertilizer (zero, 2 cm3/liter ,4 cm3/liter,6 cm3/liter) in the growth and productivity of peanut crop. The experiment was designed by using Split-plot design three replications.
