The maintenance and repair of road networks became a key and very important issue, because of the large increase in length and the limited budget available for maintenance. This research aims to develop an optimal strategy for maintenance of road in order to distribute the annually limited budget on maintenance programs of road network as a whole according to multiple objectives. The proposed mathematical model ensures raising the performance of the road network in Lattakia for the multiple targets, taking into account the constraints imposed on the maintenance process, using goal programming technique. To validate the proposed model we have studied the central road case, and the samples were Lattakia-Qurdaha and Lattakia-Haffa-Slinfa roads, we have got results represented by the number of meters can be maintained for each type of maintenance for every degree and their locations on the road network within the funds available. A commercial software called lingo has used to solve the linear programming model (phase 1) and Excel program has used to design the interface for data entry required and the formation of equations model, Excel program have also used to determine the segments which have to maintain first on the road network (phase 2). The proposed model may apply for the different situations of the budget (open, closed) and for policies and multiple options in order to reach results related to sensitively model.

This research aims to develop a model of decision-making for the selection of the most appropriate strategy of the maintenance methods of equipments. A model has been developed in order to determine the maintenance plan that causes the lowest cost, whether the cost of repairing or losses result from interruptions of work for maintenance.
Building maintenance is gaining an increasing attention in the field of scientific research and there was a need for the use of new technologies in maintenance management, , as the facility management deal with a large amount of information relatin g to maintenance, which includes drawings and specifications, lists, and reports, and the use of paper files leads to decrease the efficiency and create a shortage of data and information. We offer in this research tool to manage the maintenance process by using the BIM through linking deterioration models and three-dimensional model of the facility to be maintained, then compensate the external investigation data for maintenance work in these models, to get at the end of this research and with the help of the possibilities offered by Revit database to an upcoming maintenance items and arrange them according to their importance and impact on the facility , the estimated budget for the periodic maintenance and distribution of this budget on the various construction elements , the development of resources plan for next year and up to the knowledge database of maintenance will help in determining the supplier lifecycle and the coefficient of replacement.
This study aims to shed light on the situation of lawn and methods to maintain its vitality and freshness through a comparison between football stadiums floor covered with natural grass and other courts floor covered with artificial turf according to the construction method, maintenance and impacts on the sport city scene in Latakia. The results showed a similarity in how to create a flat of natural grass and his counterpart from the artificial turf, The method is the same of principle with regard to the preparation of the base and set up a drainage system and limited to the difference between them on the vegetation layer, natural grasses is growing constantly to form thanks to his tender plants a soft layer between players feet and the stadium floor, so that can save them of the falling damage on the ground to overtake on the artificial turf. The artificial turf does not need to prepare a mixture for cultivation, whereas natural grass requires intensive operations service, which is not up to the degree of beauty and splendor that we see only after a great effort and great care. Lawns in the stadiums, which the floor covers with artificial grass, is not expensive method, consumes no water and then there is no interest to extend an irrigation network, does not require etcetera operations service and this interprets its use in some stadiums because the maintenance is easy and keep clean and in good condition and beautiful scenery for a long time but it is useless from an environmental perspective. The results also indicated a good case of natural lawns in the main football stadium, which was better positioned compared with natural grass surfaces in the training stadiums, that received less care than in the main stadium. We conclude that the natural grass surfaces need more maintenance and operations service such as irrigation, cutting, patching, renovation and removal of exotic herbs and has been providing the necessary suggestions.
This research has been implemented in Homs city-Syria, in order to study the configuration of the road network in residential district, and the debates about the most efficient pattern in terms of functional performance, treeor grid pattern, or oth er patterns. In order to do that, it focused on the planning principles of functional performance, which can be summarized to:( proximity, permeability, security). And worked on identifying Accurately the functional performance indicators, and there measuring method, and they were (Cell / Cul ratio – T / X ratio- distant between the center and the periphery - number of cells per unit area –hierarchy). And applied it on the case studies: (organized / newly planned residential districts). It turns out that the road network should have a medium proximity and permeability for traffic, while it should be high for pedestrian. Therefore, the network patternCandidate forbetterfunctional performance when it's nearly in the mid-way between (tree and grid).
This study aims to find out the extent of application of the blue ocean strategy dimensions in Syrian juices companies and the role of exclusion, reduction, increase and innovation dimensions in the market growth of these companies, in addition to determine the relative importance of each of the blue ocean dimensions from the administrative staff members' point of view. The study took place in juice manufacturers companies in Lattakia. The conclusion of the study referred to the important role of the blue ocean strategy in creating new markets for the studied companies through excluding and reducing all that unnecessary procedures, products and services and continuous reduction and innovation process to create a new demand, where there is a significant relationship between Blue Ocean philosophy dimensions and markets growth.
