This study aimed to investigating the most common emotional intelligence skills and the level of the marital adjustment for the sample of the study, and to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and marital adjustment and the differences in both emotional intelligence and marital adjustment according to gender and the way of marriage. The sample of the study consisted of 232 male and female in the city of Damascus between the age of 38-52. To collect the data, both the scale of Emotional Intelligence (BarOn EQ) and the scale of Marital Adjustment (developed by Mohamad Bayoumy Khaleel) were used.

This study aims to investigate the nature of the relationship between the emotional intelligence and cortisol level among under graduated students. to achieve this goal the study applied the emotional intelligence scale and tests of urine cortisol t o a sample of (50) males and (60) female with average age (19-21). The results of the study indicated that there was a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the level of cortisol. In ad diction, there were no differences between males and females in the emotional intelligence The study found a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the level of achievement. Finally the study found that emotional intelligence is linked to several components which can be measured and analyzed.
The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between couple`s marital love and affective communication, and differences between spouses in their affective communication. The sample was composed of(033) married couples, home live in Damascus. The instruments used in this study were : 1 . Scale of love between the married couples (by Aisha Naser 2006). 2. Scale of affective communication between the married couples (by Aisha Naser 2006). Statistical methods were used by SPSS program.
The study aimed to investigate the relationship between social intelligence and creative thinking among secondary school students in Damascus, in addition to identifying the level of social intelligence and creative thinking among the students in t he research sample. The researcher used the analytical descriptive method. The study sample consisted of (74) students from secondary school students who were randomly selected. The study tools consisted of the first measure of social intelligence and the second measure of creative thinking. The researcher conducted the necessary statistical analysis to ascertain the psychometric characteristics of the research tools on the one hand and to verify the validity of the hypotheses on the other hand. The results were as follows: 1. There is a significant correlation between social intelligence and creative thinking among high school students (first secondary) 2. There are statistically significant differences in social intelligence among high school students due to the difference in sex (male - female) in favor of females. 3. There are no statistically significant differences in creative thinking among high school students due to gender differences (male - female). In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher recommended the necessity of preparing some activities and exercises that help to develop social intelligence in high school students and to find courses that promote and stimulate the skills of intelligence and thinking, especially social intelligence and creative thinking. The study also recommended that the teacher focus on presenting his material on skills Interpretation, analysis, flexibility, fluency and originality so that students can acquire creative thinking skills
The research aims to identify the degree of emotional intelligence in a sample of students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus. And know the level of self-efficacy. And know the correlation between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy. And measure the level of significance of differences in the answers to the research sample to measure social intelligence and self-efficacy scale according to members of the variables of research: (sex, school year).
The aim of this study is to find out the relationship between marriage adjustments with regard to each of the following independent variables: the couple's educational level, the method of choosing a spouse, and the age difference between the coupl e. As a result, there has been a statistical indication between marital adjustment and the educational level of the couple where both the convergence of couple's educational level and having highlevel education increase their adjustment.
