Administrative responsibility is a real guarantee of respecting environmental laws. If the administration aims to protect the environment and create sustainable development, we should help it and expand its responsibility. Development should not take priority over the environment and resources’ health.
The translator profile at the European Central Bank (ECB) has evolved in-creasingly rapidly over the past years. Staff of the linguistic services moved from their traditional set of tasks - translation, editing and proofreading, of-ten done on print- ups or in plain Word documents - to dealing with a multi-tude of tasks, such as project management, procurement, recruitment and training, and lately cultural mediation. But the real game changer in this transformation has been the quantum leap that technology applied to trans-lation (computer-assisted translation (CAT) and machine translation (MT)) has enabled in complex organisational structures. This brought about signifi-cant challenges in terms of people and change management, but also pre-sented huge opportunities and the chance to broadcast the ECB's language services as a cutting-edge professional unit within the organisation. The transformation is still underway, but we are not in uncharted waters any-more. In fact, we are broadening our interest in new technologies to make our communication more accessible, even beyond the pure translation func-tion.
The chromatic dispersion of fiber is a major factor causing distortion of the light signals, and if not being addressed using accurate compensators it will lead to a significant deterioration in the performance of optical system. The value of chr omatic dispersion is not fixed along the fiber, and this necessitates the use of tunable dispersion compensators which need information about the value of dispersion which is done by dispersion monitoring. This research is Interested in analyzing chromatic dispersion technique based on the measuring of clock tone power of transmitted data and which is commensurate with the dispersion of the fiber. We found the relationship between signal frequency with range and accuracy of measurement. Also, the advantage of this technique to provide feedback signal to tunable dispersion compensator. The results show the extent of the improvement made in network performance. VPItransmissionmaker program was used to simulate the technique proposed.
Backlash has been studied in this project. Backlash is the clearance between mating components. A state of the art has been done, and it includes: methods of measuring, modeling and compensating the backlash. There are mechanical methods to compens ate the backlash but we concentrated on the control techniques, they have been studied and DUAL MOTOR CONTROL method was chosen for this work.
