The research aims to identify the social concepts and the extent of their availability in the contents of the History Book of the Seventh Grade _ The Basic Education-in Syrian Arab Republic. The research has adopted the descriptive approach. The researcher has used a content analysis from prepared by himself. He has made certain that the form is authentic and steady by means of the accredited scientific methods. The sample research is represented by the contents of the History Book of the seventh Grade_The Basic Education in the Syrian Arab Republic, 2016/2017 edition.
The research aims to identify the level of social skills, mental habits among a sample of the seventh grade in the province of Damascus students, and to identify the relationship between social skills and mental habits level of research sample, as well as the study of the differences among respondents in social skills and mental habits according to gender, it reached number research sample (655) students from public schools the province of Damascus, has been using two measures: the scale Ghoul (1993), social skills, and the measure of mental habits, prepared by the researcher, and after verifying of validity and reliability.
The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of a training program on developing the mathematical thinking in mathematics achievement and retention of seventh grade students. To achieve this purpose a study sample of (182) male and femal e students was selected from the seventh grade. This sample was divided into four groups. Two groups were randomly chosen to be the experimental groups that studied the training program which aimed at developing types and skills of mathematical thinking.
