The aim of this research is to determine the role of mineral (NPK) and organic fertilization (Chicken manure, Cow manure and Chicken with Cow manure) on vegetative growth and flowering of Zinnia (Zinnia elegans). This research also examines the possi
bility of relying on this organic manure to present nutrients for the plant in order to reduce mineral fertilization.
The results show that the use of NPK (30, 20, 20 g/m2) or Chicken manure (2Kg/m2) has a positive impact on vegetative growth (plant height and average number of branches andleaves on the plant). They also show a positive effect on the flower developmentand flowering (early flowering, number of flowers and flower volume). These positive effects are reflected on the proportion of dry matter both in the vegetative and flowering part. The results indicate that plants fertilized with NPK or Chicken manure realize higher economic profit than the control and those fertilized with Cow manure.
The research has been conducted in different sites in lattakia, Alhamra and alsabahia
villages of Rabea and Aen alzarqa of Mashqeta. 14 cases of precipitation was marked
which caused runoff and water erosion of soil during the research (seasonal ra
infall in
2011/2012). Samples of rain water of every precipitation case were collected. by using rain
gauges that were installed in the research sites. After that, samples were moved to the
laboratory. The pH was determined after that the samples were analyzed by using an ion
chromatography device(IC).
This study was carried out during 2013 – 2015 and aimed to assess the effects of
applying dry sewage sludge on dry biomass production and wood volume of Eucalyptus
camaldulensis plantation established on sandy soil in Fedio plantation-Lattakia at A
pril -
2013.
Four experimental treatments were compared at age 22 months: SS1 (sewage sludge
3 kg/tree), SS2 (sewage sludge 6 kg/tree), MF (mineral fertilizer), and C (no fertilizer
applications). Aboveground dry biomass production and wood volume in the SS1
treatment were about 107.60 t/ ha and 121.13 m3/harespectively, MF treatment (87.52 t/ha,
96.98 m3/ha) and SS2 treatment (91.12 t/ha, 103.42 m3/ha)and higher than in the control
treatment (43.89 t/ha, 51.32 m3/ha ).
The research aims to study the economic efficiency of olive mill wastewater
(OMWW) use in fertilizing olive trees, Which included research sample / 294 / farmer in
Lattakia Governorate, depending on the descriptive analytical method,And found the
results to be to fertilize the olive trees with (OMWW) rents high productivity, Where it
posted a net profit of (33,668) SP / acre / year, while gross margin stood at (61 235) SP ,
The coefficient of profitability compared to the cost of production (about 41.32%)%, while
the profitability coefficient was compared to the capital invested approximately 42.98%.
Generally, sewage sludge is dumped into sanitary landfills, even
though its use in forest stands as a fertilizer and soil conditioner
might be an interesting option. However, sewage sludge must be
applied with care to avoid soil and water pollutio
n. The aim of this
study was to assess the effects of applying dry sewage sludge on
wet biomass production and wood volume of short rotation
Eucalyptus camaldulensis plantation established on sandy soil in
Fedio plantation.
