We studying in this research the reaction with Zinc sulphate in an
aqueous solution by physical - chemical method in presence of
Succinic Acid , and determined compounds which are formed in
this solution and we calculated of it formation the const
ants.
After we used these electrolytes in plating by Zinc , that is by
electro precipitation of this metal on the solid electrodes (steel,
copper) so that we definite the best of these electrolytes for galvany
and the set necessary conditions for its use.
In this research we studied the corrosion rate changes of iron samples which are not
galvanized in the laborators ( laboratorsies of the faculty of science) and in nature (on the
beach of the high-institute sea- research in Lattakia)
The Inula ext
racts were choosen as a plant inhibitor to cover the iron samples and
protect it . because this plant is well known in the Coastal area, also it,s very cheap and
easy to find and has good anti oxidation properties.
The best conditions for (Inula-seawater) extract were : (PH=7 , time =24 hours ,
concent ration = 10%).
The studied iron samples were treated with the ( inula-seawater) extract in the same
previous conditions and we studied the corrosion rate changes for those samples and the
affectivity of the inhibitor for them.
The results were compared in each stage with other samples that were not treated .
the treatment and after it were as follows:
The velocity of the corrosion in the iron samples (before the treatment with the
extract) in 120 days:
- in the laboratory tanks was 0.78 mg/cm2 .day, but after the treatment was 0.23
mg/cm2.day
-in the drizzle area was 0.80 mg/cm2.day, but after the treatment was 0.47
mg/cm2.day
-in the waves area was 0.75 mg/cm2.day , but after the treatment was 0.41
mg/cm2.day
- in the depth area was 0.79 mg/cm2.day , but after the treatment was 0.21
mg/cm2.day.
We discussed in this work some predictive methods for time series and it is decomposing time series to its component (trend, Seasonality, cycle, random), Exponential smoothing, ARIMA, then we discussed some combining methods, then we formed a new c
ombine for predict time series which depends on combining exponential smoothing and ARIMA using weighted average with MAPE weights, and applied all methods above on three seasonal time series , first hourly temperature in Aleppo in august 2011 ,second monthly milk production peer cow in Australia from Jan 1962 to Dec 1975,third quartly electricity production in Australia from Mar 1956 to Sep 1994, and compared the results which approved that the suggested method is the best.
This research was aimed to study a gross chemical composition of Avocado fruits
and seeds, and to known physicochemical characteristics of its oil, and its fatly acid
composition.
The data indicated that its fruits contained (12.4%) oil , while se
eds contained lower
amounts of oil which reached (1.92%) dry weight basis , and the moisture content of seeds
reached (%52.5) , and acid value reached ( 1.6and4.3 mg KOH/g) at fruit and seed oils
respectively , Avocado fruits oil contained (77.77%) unsaturated fatly acid , and (21.77%)
saturated , and iodine value obtained in our study ( 77-84 g I/100 g) of fruits oil and
( 45.78 g I/100 g) of seeds oil confirming the unsaturated nature of these oils.
Also Avocado fruits and seeds oil possessed a low peroxide value comparison others
(3.71 , 2.2 Meq/kg oil) respectively ,
The data also indicated that its seeds contained (52.5%) moisture , (7.45%) grude
fibers ,(8.53%) sugars , (4.69%) pure protein , (2.34%) ash , and high percentage of starch
(59.3%) dry weight basis .
تعاني محطات معالجة مياه الصرف الصحي كثيرا من مشكلة ادارة ومعالجة الحمأة الناتجة عن المعالجة إذ تشكل عمليات معالجة وطرح الحمأة حوالي (30-40) % من كلفة التاسيس لمحطات المعالجة
