Skin-to-skin contact (SSC) between the mother and her infant immediately post-delivery is an important procedure that must be included in the care given to mother and her infant many health benefits. The mother's desire and reaction towards (SSC) is the decisive factor in the success of this procedure, so the current study aimed to investigate the initial reaction of 200 women towards (SSC) immediately after their vaginal delivery were randomly selected from the obstetric hospital and national children in Lattakia, data were collected using a questionnaire developed for this purpose. The study showed that nearly three-quarters of mothers agreed to have contact with their children in (SSC) and nearly three-quarters of approvals preferred to be covered. The highest rate of response to approvals for contact with their children immediately after birth was the expression of joy in child and then hugging and kissing him. Research summary
Critical review

Skin-to-skin contact (SSC) between the mother and her infant immediately post-delivery is an important procedure that must be included in the care given to mother and her infant many health benefits. The mother's desire and reaction towards (SSC) is the decisive factor in the success of this procedure, where personal factors in the mother's life play a role in agreeing to this way of care. Therefore, the present study aims to identifying the mother's initial Reaction to (SSC) with her infant after childbirth, and identifying the factors affecting this and finding a scientific solutions to it. This descriptive study was conducted to investigate the initial reaction of 200 women towards (SSC) immediately after their vaginal delivery were randomly selected from labor section of the obstetric hospital and national children in Lattakia, the data were collected using a developed questionnaire for this purpose. The results showed that nearly three-quarters of mothers agreed to have contact with their children in (SSC) and nearly three-quarters of approvals preferred to be covered. The highest rate of response to approvals for contact with their children immediately after birth was the expression of joy in child and then hugging and kissing him. While the highest response of non-approvals for contact with their children immediately Post-Delivery refused to touch the child because they were suffering of pain, There was also a significant difference between the consent of women to their child's carry and non- carry according to the variables of the cultural level, the economic situation, the number of births and the current state of birth. The study recommended that every mother in the labor room should be investigated for carrying her naked child or swaddled with a blanket immediately after birth, not forcing them to immediately postpartum (SSC), and to conduct continuing education and training courses to provide all midwives and nurses working in labor rooms as well as mothers in their care settings With information and skills on the implementation of SSC between mother and newborn immediately after birth, and further research on nurse and midwife information on the importance of prompt (SSC) immediately Post-Delivery.

Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) is the leading cause of maternal death worldwide. In the developing countries, it is responsible for the death of about 125 000 women each year. In most cases 67-80% are caused by uterine atony. Uterine massage would re present a simple intervention with the potential to have a major effect on PPH and maternal mortality in under resourced settings. Aim: The aim of the present study is to study the effect of uterine massage on the immediate postpartum hemorrhage among primiparae. Materials and Methods: The study was conducted of al-Assad Hospital and Children & Obstetrics Hospital (Lattakia), a convent sample of 40 primiparae women. Checklist application form was used to assess the postpartum hemorrhage by hemoglobin and hematocrit measurement before applying uterine massage and after the end of procedure. Results: This study demonstrated that the rate of hemorrhage decreased in the experimental group, hemoglobin and hematocrit was higher (10.4 mg/dl, 32.3%) (P=0.029*) (P=0.015*) among primipara who received uterine massage. Conclusions and Recommendations: Our present study results advice to apply uterine massage for all women after labor and delivery because its effective in reducing blood loss. It is also recommended to learn nurses how to apply uterine massage.
Carried out the experiment in the laboratory through the experience of the patch where they were both studying the effect of pH (5.5-7- 8.5), and the time of contact between the solution and the soil (05.01.10 / d) and the concentration of the sol ution of the metal chromium (13.4-22.84-47.57 mg / l) in the adsorption kinetics and chrome. The results of the patch test showed that the amount of chromium adsorbed from the aqueous solution increases with time, and be this quantity greater in the first minute, and in all degrees of the pH of the solution Whatever the chromium concentration in the initial solution, as well as the degree of adsorption or removal ratio, and chrome amount adsorbed from The solution is greater when the pH of the solution is 8.5, and that whatever the initial concentration of the solution, as well as the degree of adsorption or removal ratio.
