The present study aimed to discuss the concept of quality of information provided by the MIS in the Syrian Telecommunications company with identifying the most important dimensions of information quality, and how to measure them in order to test their impact on the decision making process.
In modern economic variables, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises are particularly significant, necessitating their development to stay in line with these changes and to improve their competitive ability in the existing world market. This research a ims to clarify and specify the role of business frames in supporting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Syria. The data are collected through a pre-designed questionnaire directed to those employees, in addition to few face-to-face interviews. We have obtained some important results and offered the suggestions that contribute to the development of the performance of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Syria.
The objective of this field study was to examine the effect of brand name dimensions, namely; brand perceived price, brand perceived quality on purchase decision. The field research was carried out on university youth in Syria. Aimed the research was to understand the most influential brand name dimensions on purchase decision. Based on brand name literature, previous empirical and conceptual studies, a self-administered questionnaire was developed as a primary data collection method. The questionnaire instrument was distributed and delivered to a convenience sample (800 students) of Al-Furat university. Descriptive statistics, simple and multiple regression analysis techniques were employed to test the research model and hypotheses. Empirical findings revealed a positive and significant impact of brand name dimensions (brand perceived price, brand perceived quality) on purchase decision of youth university.
This study aimed to characterize the factors affecting the entrepreneurs' decisions during the internationalization process of medium-sized firms in Syria, and to disclosure the implications of the differences about the motives and gains from work ing internationally through a comparison between internationalized and non-internationalized firms. The sample comprised of (35) firms in Damascus and its countryside, which are working in industrial and commercial sectors. The sample consists of (17) internationalized firms and (18) non-internationalized. The researcher has used the "descriptive analytical method" and taken of the "case study" as a procedural framework, and developed a questionnaire especially for this purpose based on scale previously applied in the study of internationalization of Egyptian companies.
The study problems represented in the question if it is possible that optional disclosure of environmental information will leads to the quality of accounting information in Sudanese business organizations. The study aimed to know whether the Sudan ese bodies committed to environmental performance and disclosure in financial reports & the analysis of the relationship between the optional disclosure & the environmental information to the quality of accounting information and evaluation of the environmental committing in Sudanese business organizations. In this study, a number of 150 questionnaires forms are distributed among accounting offices that work in Sudan. About 130 questionnaires forms are valid for analysis. The study comes the result that the optional disclosure leads to environmental information in the financial reports &provide good information in taking decisions& enable to predict environmental risk, which indicate the awareness of business organizations to the environmental issues.
