experimental tests have been performed on the ball bearings lubricated with grease and the trends in the amount of erosion affected by the contamination of the grease were determined. The contaminant concentration as well as the particle size is varied.

This research carried out in Al- Bassa village at Lattakia province during 2013-2014, to determine the effects of increasing rates of boron and zinc fertilization by foliar spraying, on root nodulation and seed yield of broad beans (Viciafaba L.). Se eds were planted in plastic pots (15 kg capacity), filled with sandy-silty soil, characterized by its poor content of boron, and represents most of lands in the region. Boron and zinc were sprayed by five increasing concentrations (Bo, B25, B50, B75 and B100) and (Zno, Zn25, Zn50, Zn75, Zn10)on broad bean plants at 33 and 65 days post-emergent. Results showed that treatments high significance than control, in termsof root length witch the best treatment was B100Zn100with 31c.m, and 2.85 g for B75Zn75 as a wight of length, on the other hand the best treatment for number of nodules was B75Zn75, 179.03 c.m, B100Zn100 was the best for height of the plant with 100.20, for protein B100Zn100 the best with 37.4%, However, boron and zinc fertilization treatment B75Zn75 is the best, economically.
The research aims to take advantage of the solar energy, as a free energy, to run a water pump powered by solar energy, and to study the effect of the intensity of solar radiation on the performance of this pump in Syrian coast conditions. This resea rch has explained the necessary mechanism for determining the capacity of the pump and the electric PV panels required for the work of the pump and the area of these panels. Studying the effect of intensity of solar radiation on the performance of water pump through studying the impact of pump altitude and solar radiation intensity on water flow range at experiment location. It demonstrated that the flow of the pump is going through two phases with the increasing values of solar radiation during the day. It was found that the increasing value of the flow of the pump before the value of (520W/m2) of Solar radiation was greater than that after (520W/m2) and this led to the loss of a part of the solar energy falling during the day, especially on sunny days, and the value of the loss was about (27%) of the total amount of solar energy falling per day.
In this study, the effect of temperature on volume strains in three types of local clay soils was studied after adding different percentages of sand for each soil (10%-20%-30%40%-50%) when temperatures change from (20-60)° C to be used as liners i n solid waste landfill sites . The results of the study showed that the mixing of sand with the clay played a key role in reducing the magnitude of volume strains between (24-27%) of the value of strains.
The last stage endured on obvious erosion especially the front and the end of the blade . The erosion caused the appearance some cracks in this place. These remarks coincided with the theoretic al results , which were acquired according to the con dition of the turbine of station which showed that the droplet , which collided with the blade ends, caused high pressure on the surface of the blade and caused the occurrence of the corrosion . The danger of the erosion unavoidable due to its relationship with tae station efficiency and the only to avoid that is the use of the blade made of erosion resistance ingots .
This search include making laboratory tests on sandy soil samples ,wich were taken from Damascus Suburb (Alkastal-Maarona- Alsallema) and from Hama(Alsalameya), physical and clasificated tests were made besides oedometer tests, two limited cases w ere studied :maximum loose and maximum dense for each soil. Values of deformation modulus (E) were determined from oedometric compression curves at various compression levels, and then the experimental equations between deformation modulus and primary void ratio, and between modulus of lateral soil pressure and deformation modulus were concluded at maximum loose and maximum dense.
