In this paper samples of poly vinyl chloride PVC ,pure, irradiated with Gama rays, were prepared by casting method in room temperature and light, and under atmosphere pressure. It was observed from this research that irradiation made real effect on some of the studied optical properties, the irradiation increased the transmittance while the electronic transitions kind remained indirect before and after the irradiation.

Mice embryos were irradiated in utero by gamma rays (٠،٢،٤،٦ Gy) at ١٠،١٢،١٤،١٦،١٨ days of gestation. Histological study was carried out on the first premandibular molar after ٢،٤،٦،٨ days of irradiation, to investigate the effect of irradiation on different stages of molar development.
This search include making laboratory tests on sandy soil samples ,wich were taken from Damascus Suburb (Alkastal-Maarona- Alsallema) and from Hama(Alsalameya), physical and clasificated tests were made besides oedometer tests, two limited cases w ere studied :maximum loose and maximum dense for each soil. Values of deformation modulus (E) were determined from oedometric compression curves at various compression levels, and then the experimental equations between deformation modulus and primary void ratio, and between modulus of lateral soil pressure and deformation modulus were concluded at maximum loose and maximum dense.
Because of large industrial development which the world has seen in all fields. scientists and researchers aim to produce new materials that having special engineering properties with low economic cost as fit multiple industrial application and us es. So in This present article We try to prepare composite materials based on aluminum alloy (6663) and reinforcement it by different particles having size of micron of Alumina and silicon carbide particles are added in specific weight parentage by stir casting technique to obtain Aluminum Which having the improving mechanical properties
The aim of this research was to assess the physical, chemical، microbiological and sensory characteristics of new made Qamar Al– stored for six months and determine the effect of gamma rays on those characteristics. Samples of Qamar Al–Din were su bjected to sulfur fumigation and other samples were left without sulfur fumigation and all samples were exposed to four radiation doses (0, 1, 2 and 3 kilo Gray) and stored for 6 months at room temperature (20° C). Results showed significant differences between sulfated and non-sulfated samples in terms of pH, relative humidity, ash, total sugar، viscosity, potassium, sodium, sulfur vitamin C and it was observed lower microbial load. Results also showed that amount of vitamin C and viscosity was significantly the highest in sulfated samples irradiated with 2 and 3 kilo Gray and irradiation with a dose of 2 kilo Gray eliminated sufficiently the microbial load. It was concluded that running this study is helpful to shed the light on the importance of such these treatments especially that this traditional product concerns large number of consumers and is exported to different countries in the world.
Continuous calculations of evapotranspiration (LE) using eddy covariance method and energy budget were performed over more than one year above the heterogeneous canopy of an arid oasis ecosystem in the central Syrian desert. Irrigation practice wa s traditional flooding with a 28 days turn of water delivery. The work focuses on seasonal variations of energy budget over a 2 years period with emphasis on effects of rainfall, wind speed and radiative budget on evapotranspiration. Maximum evapotranspiration was only 5mm/day. Even under irrigation practices, winter rainfall seems to have an important impact on LE: comparisons of two situations in June 2002 and June 2003 showed an increase of 13% in values of LE/Rn-G. Maximum averaged hourly values of evapotranspiration were found for wind speed values closed to 3m/s. This suggests that when the evaporative demand from the air (or vapour pressure deficit (vpd) ) is increasing above a certain limit, the vegetation closes its stomata and reduces transpiration. Results from the energy balance closure showed significant differences in the slope of H+LE against Rn-G relationships between cold and hot month which was explained by specific radiative budget of desert areas.
