This research includes a comparative study of the physical properties of compressed wood factory of pine cones and tree Alazdrecht. This study demonstrated the feasibility of manufacturing slabs of pressed wood from pine cones and the remnants of pruning trees Alazdrecht and physical attributes of a good، which contribute to the lifting of economic value to them.

3 composite samples were taken from each area from 3 different sites, and a number of physical and chemical analyzes were performed, and the results were linked to the climate factors, mother rock and fertilizing treatments.
The physical properties of gravel play an important role on the quality of concrete industry in local workshops. Because they constitute a main role in various concrete mix design. It's necessary to understand the importance of the physical proper ties of gravel and It's improving role in the concrete mixes. This research aimed to study the role of the properties of gravel on the concrete mixes manufacture.
This research deals with producing structural lightweight aggregates concrete (the density is less than 1920kg/m3 and compressive strength is more than 17.2Mpa according to ACI 213R-03) by using scoria aggregates. Several concrete mixes have been d esigned with different proportions of scoria aggregates. The cement content (c=450 kg/m3), the ratio (w/c = 0.36) were kept constant in all the mixes. Different tests were performed to determine some properties of product concrete such as density, compressive strength and splitting tensile strength. The density of product concrete was in the range of (1752-1917 kg/m3), compressive strength was in the range of (22.2-32.8Mpa), and the splitting strength was in the range of (2.3-3.2Mpa). The study demonstrated the possibility of production concrete achieved the Requirements of the American code ACI 213R-03 for structural lightweight concrete.
This study was conducted at Darya and Abe Jerash regions to study some Physical properties of the two soil types such as: soil depth, soil texture, bulk density, Specific weight and Porosity. Results showed that Bulk density average decreased and the total porosity increased in the soil of Darya compared to soil of Abe Jerash, due to the high percentage of clay in the first type compared to the second one. Bulk density average in general, increased in both soils with depth. Presence of a strong and positive relationship between the Specific weight and the percentage of sand in the soil of Darya and it was also strong but inverse in the soil of Abe Jerash, but the relationship was. The coefficient of determination was high for silt with Specific weight in the soil of Darya, while this factor was low in the soil of abe Jerash, indicating the high quality of the regression equation that represents the relationship between the two variables in soil of Darya.
The research aims to study is to study the effect of the pH factor of Pterocladia capillacea on agar yield and some of its physical properties using different degrees of pH (4- 5.5 - 5.5 - 6.5 - 7.5 - 7.5 - 8). The maximum yield of agar was 37.45% at pH = 5 and 562g / cm2 and viscosity 10.7cP and 15.45% at pH = 8 with the highest strength of 768 g /cm2 and viscosity of cP 156. The degree of melting and melting of agar Between (22- 33.5 οC) and (75- 86 οC), respectively.
