Pilot clinical study of patients who underwent injection of grease to restore the size and structure of the nose where the patients were divided into two groups, the first group included 59 patients injected self tallow conducted them as a result of the presence of congenital malformation or acquired in the nose area has been repeated injections again if necessary after 3 months of injections first in different anatomical locations including the nose tip and Dean appeared the nose as well as the root of the nose. The second group included 36 patients self-injecting fat carried them to repair deformities after rhinoplasty. Where the results were studied for a year, depending on the patient and surgeon satisfaction and people around the patient for cosmetic results of data collected.

Parotidectomy is a common surgical procedure associated with some complications as well as facial asymmetry.Frey syndrome is a common complication after protidectomy and characterized by a sweating and a flushing and/or an erythema of the cheek ar ea during mastication leading to very disturbing to the patient. Autologous fat transfer is an easy technique, widely used in cosmetic surgery to reconstruct the defect caused after various excisional surgeries as well as preventing or treatment frey syndrome. The aim of this study is to assist the results of autologous fat transfer to parotid area (after parotidectomy) in treatment frey syndrome in addition to improving the aesthetic aspects.
The spread of the modern data transfer techniques, in modern industrial and agricultural applications, and service areas, leads to the need to transfer this data effectively and flexibly, within installations parts. This research aims to apply the h ybrid mechanism, based on the use of ZigBee technology, and CAN Bus together to ensure the best performance, in accordance with the performance indicators required by the networks of these facilities, in near-real time operation. The study attempts to compare this mechanism with other mechanisms proposed in similar research. The proposed solution supports the use of a hybrid data transfer networks, based on the internetworking of CAN Bus networks, using a backbone based on wireless ZigBee technology. This solution proposes an appropriate structure for gateways between the hybrid parts of the network. The research has concluded that the proposed mechanism preference, compared with the proposed mechanisms in similar research, according to the standards of performance indicators, is suitable for this kind of networks, as it allows us to recommend the use of this mechanism in the service and industrial applications. The NS2 network simulator is used to evaluate and compare the obtained results.
The nose plays an important role in diagnosis and in orthodontic and surgical treatment plan. The aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship between the nose shape and the underlying hard structures. This study has been done in orthodontic d epartment / Damascus University.
The number of patients reached 15 patients, the number of females ranged was 1 patient percentage 6,6%, The number of males 14 ranges by 93.4% . Mean age of the occurrence of the injury was at the third decade. The patients of the Study had isolated common peroneal nerve injuries after Trauma. We have basted in the diagnosis of these injuries mainly on the clinical study, which followed by EMG, it showed loss of the ability of the nerve to respond to alert the electric stimulation. we hope with these situations is to maintain a relatively acceptable function, not a full return of it, Authors said that the function cannot return 100%. We have good results one year after the surgery in terms of muscle tone of the leg 67%, In addition to a good improvement in the movement of ankle joint 60%. All patients followed physical therapy in specialized Center in physical therapy after removing the plaster. The study showed that a full and regular cooperation between the surgeon therapist and a doctor of physical therapy has a big role in getting a good results.
Cancer stem cells in solid tumors are a "rare" group of cells and their role in carcinogenesis has been proven during the past few years. The pursuit for specific oral epithelial stem cell surface markers leads to the identification of markers su ch as CD44 and Bmi-1. The combination between CD44 which has been considered a potential prognostic marker for cancer stem cells in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC), and Bmi-1 the pluripotency stemness marker may lead to identify the cells sharing the properties of both markers and could give a closer look into its appearance and density in the tissue. The aim of this study was to study the percent of cells stained positive for both markers and the histological grade of (HNSCC) and the anatomic location of the tumor. Statistical analysis showed that higher density of positive stained cells for both markers was in the severe grade of the tumor, whereas the second higher ratio was in the mild grade then the moderate , there was no significant association between the density of cells and the anatomical location. Our results suggest that the two markers together could be used as prognostic factors for patients with even mild grade SCC, which might help in prediction of recurrence.
