The aim of the study was to evaluate The relation between morphology of lips and incisors and mandibular rotation in adult class Ι individuals and to explore the gender dimorphism for these measurments. Material and methods True lateral cephalometri c radiograph of the sample that comprises 32 females and 30 males aged 18-25 years and they possess class I skeletally and dentally. The data were analyzed using independent sample t test and Pearson correlation analysis. Results: In males interlabial angle negatively correlated with U1-NS and positively with U1-L1 Nasolabial angle and mentolabial angle positively correlated with (NS-GoMe, FH-GoMe, B, Bijork angles) Zangle and ULT/ULH negatively correlated with (NS-GoMe, FH-GoMe, B, Bijork angles) in Females lower lip inclination positively correlated with (NS-GoMe, FH-GoMe, B, Bijork angles).
The Objective is to study the relation between craniocervical posture and skeletal patterns of malocclusion in the sagittal plane in adults , None of them had a history of previous orthodontic or orthognathic surgery treatment by using lateral cep halometric radiographs. our sample consisted of 71 adults patients; class I (n=21) , class II (n= 30 ) , class III (n=20 ) .All radiographes were taken in natural head position.
Cephalometric evaluation of the upper air ways to obtain normative measurements of the upper airway in the Syrians healthy adults. Subjects included 70 healthy patients, (age range, 22-24 years) with permanent occlusion on all teeth, class 1 on fi rst molars and canines, normal overjet(2-3 mm) and normal overbite(not more than 1\3 buccal surface of the lower central incisor), no spaces or crowding teeth,Syrian nationality,no prior orthodontic treatment and with no functional disorders. Thirteen cephalometric airway measurements:the width of nasopharynx, oropharynx, hypopharynx, vertical pharyngeal length, thickness and length of the soft palate ,relative position of the hyoid bone, and length and hieght of the tongue, were obtained.
The aim of the study is to determine the relationship between the dental arch form and facial growth pattern in vertical diamond among adult patients . The study consisted of 123 patients that met the inclusion conditions.
This study aimed to investigate the relationship of the size and areas of the upper airway with the Facial growth type in adults ,and to investigate the differences in upper airway measurements between males and females using sagittal and axial sl ices of three dimensional computed tomography.
